The rdd - usa tent is a very top-shelf tent, I've set them up, and lived in them, they're not as hot as canvas, and it has no floor, and bug mesh. If you planning on sleeping in it in summer and there are lots of insects, you gonna ring the dinner bell with this one, they'll come with bibs on and ready. Great tent, these were used by the army in the 2000s and then were dx, and some new shit was bought. Brought to the desert and burned, because it came in contact with desert sand from another country. Great tent line up ill look at the cold weather tent

Not all of the French F-2 tents have 2 doors and mosquito netting. The OD green was made in 4 varieties: 1) 2 doors with netting, 2) 1 door with netting, 3) 2 doors no mosquito netting, 4) 1 door and no netting. I've never seen any of the military/surplus/survival stores in the U.S. advertise which version(s) they offer. Also, some are new, in perfect condition, others new with storage wear, others various grades of used. They all, especially the new, unissued, need a good seam sealing along ALL the seams.
A blow up pool floatie makes a good personal air mattress. If you get a quality one that doesn't leak it will keep you off the ground all night. Then you won't have to worry about hypothermia from the ground absorbing your heat + the extra comfort.
The CATOMA Wolverine MIGHT be able to be set up in therein W/O getting the inner tent wet, but not easily.
*->The SNUGPAK BUNKER is THE correct way to make a tent that CAN be set up in the rain W/O getting the inner tent wet.
Same goes for the LIGHTFIGHTER, a good design. NONE of these tents use silnylon fabric (silicone coated nylon) which lasts FAR longer than polyurethane coatings and is lighter but just as waterproof when used with the correct hydrostatic head application.
Look at US made Tarptent offerings. ALL can be set up and taken down in the rain W/O getting the inside wet. Excellent design and excellent quality MADE IN USA. (except foe the Dyneema fabric tents)
How can #9 the f1f2 tent be in the top 10 if it needs pegs, hows that going to go when your on a mountain

Wow that was some cool tents! 👍 Coming from a civilian who just want 'more tent' and gadgets for the least possible carrying weight (the split up in smaller parts snugpack bunker was pretty smart).
I saw several compatible tents compared to my specific wants in a tent just for camping. I have no what so ever experience with any military tents ever so if any 1 have any other cool related tents like these, drop a link or something.
Initially upon watching this video I was looking to find maybe a teepee tent not as big as the 8 person "Gear", maybe 3 person? If weight isn't more than 1 person can carry.
Other than that I was pretty impressed with especially Nr. 10 (apart from the 'camo' outer tent and Nr. 9 The French F1/F2 and saw someone else mention snugpack ionosphere which also looks awesome 😅

Snugpack Ionosphere, is probably the most popular and defenately, the most copied design by other companies. Could easily be in this Top 10!

No information provided at all, since you were just grabbing sparse details from the web. It seems you have never put up a tent yourself, so how can you create a top 10? Since you mix all kinds of sizes and purposes, the number 1 should obviously be Gadaffi's luxury desert tent - with 300 square meters, carpets, fire bowl and Netflix.
