Im researching about japan so much these days, i am saving money so i can bring my mother there after corona. 😭 My mother deserves these kind of relaxation 😭❤️❤️
Another beautiful video. The onsens look so relaxing and idyllic. Looking forward to being in Japan next week. Thanks for uploading your videos. They are always well made and a pleasure to watch. Take care of yourself.
+TheKaiTetley Whohooo!! It’s finally October which means it’s your turn to be in one of amazing places on earth... Japan 🇯🇵 Thanks for always stopping by and supporting my channel. Hey Loved the Video I know its a bit old but maybe u still read this and can help me out :D Do I have to Book an Hotel to go to the Onsens in Okuhida or can i just pay a fee for the Onsens and I heard in the mixed Onsens in Okuhida you are allowed to wear bathing suits is that right ?
What time of year did you go? I'll be there early November prices are showing up as over and $400 for one night in a base room but I seen in your comments you paid $150?
@@SandraSayonira Yes definitely lol we're not all trillionaires ! 😄 $146'000 per year I can buy a very nice big MANSION in the Philippines for that price. I nearly had a heart attack when I saw that price. 😣
How did you get your camera in there? I thought all onsen ban photography/videography. Did you need to get permission? Also, is the mixed bathing area fully nude too?
I think there are 4 Onsen town in Oduhika.. Which was your favourite Onsen?? And Did u have to pay for each entry. I am planning to have an Onsen day to relax for one whole day. Thanks
Hi Neha, we were staying in a nice secluded hotel called Hodakaso Yamano Hotel in Takayama: ruclips.net/video/24STRX2CiCQ/видео.html , so they have got their private onsen as well as a couple outside the hotel (they’ll give you a free pass to enter) which is very nice and free for the hotel guests. My favourite one is the one overlooking the mountain as per the video. 🙂
Hi Jamie... July and August are the hottest and humid in Japan so September probably won’t be so bad. However in saying that it’s a personal choice, it’s still quite relaxing but you won’t get the effect of cold on the outside and steamy hot on the onsen to balance things out (hmm... not sure if that makes sense). Lemme know how you go... so excited for you 😃👍
Hi Sandra, just stumbled upon your video this morning. We are heading to Takayama soon in Dec/Jan. How do you get to Takayama from Kyoto? The outdoor onsen looks so inviting!
Hi Lucky, we didn’t go from Takayama to Kyoto, we went from Takayama to Kanazawa by renting a car (see my video here ruclips.net/video/cdcDmy2RU_I/видео.html ). But if you’re going from Takayama to Kyoto, the best way may be using a JR Line. Unfortunately there’s no direct train. Most people take JR Limited Express "Wide View Hida" from Takayama to Nagoya, where you transfer to Tokaido Shinkansen Line from Nagoya to Kyoto: if you use JR Pass, take its Hikari Superexpress from Nagoya to Kyoto. How exciting as December just around the corner! Have a great and safe journey. Definitely check out those outdoor onsen in Takayama... they are so magical! Thanks so much for dropping by...
Hi Lok Man Kwan, I’ve booked it through Agoda for Aud$115 per night but that was only second floor so I upgraded to $150 per night to 6th floor. Worth every penny 😊. The hotel that you've booked should include the private hot spring. The tattoo may be an issue in this hotel as they've clearly stated at the doors and written rule (see my previous video: ruclips.net/video/cdcDmy2RU_I/видео.html ). But when I went blogging on a weekday, there were no one there... Hope this helps and thanks for watching... 🙏
+LOK MAN KWAN you are most welcome! That’s not a bad price at all. Oh and based on my experience, the hotel is secluded from everything and it’s about 2 hours drive from Takayama. I’ve documented the road trip so I hope it can help planning your trip. Have a fantastic one 😊👍
Beautiful nature, the hot springs are amazing!!!!!
Great video... that is the hotel we stayed on one of our tours... I would love to visit there again, so beautiful. Highly recommend this hotel.

Hello, must one stay at the hotel to enjoy the onsen? We will be staying in Takayama and are looking for onsen to visit as a day trip. Thank you! ♡
Hi Nicole... No, you can pay a fee to get in and there’s no need to stay at the Onsen Hotel. Though it can be more convenient though... 😀
Sandra Sayonira Thank you very much for your quick responce!!!! ♡♡♡
My pleasure, Nicole... have a great trip in Takayama! 😀👌💕

good to have your reply. i will go over in november then.
You’ll have a blast in Japan... enjoy! 😄👍
Serious question. Do we need to enter the pool without a single shorts?!!
Yes.... Japanese onsen is quite strict that you have to enter naked for hygiene purposes.
Are there any Private baths.? I just wanted to visit Japan with my wife and we want to spend some time alone
不錯!不錯!!!是渡假的好地方!!!!!
是的,非常好 👍😊
how did u get permission to video inside? or did u just haha yolo
Because we’re the only ones there 😂

Hi Ashlee... we were there in April 2016. Wow, $400 per night is a bit steep! 😲 Maybe need to look elsewhere?
$400 !!! Omg ! 😟

For snow... December! But this place is cold most of the time, we went in May and it was beautiful 🌷😃👍

Hi @kentDelay. This is the song I’ve used: ruclips.net/video/b5LJwdB-fO8/видео.html 😊

The atmosphere is like an Alfred Hitchcock movie.
Come to think of it... you are right, Don! 🤔

hi, do you think its okay to visit onsen during summer season? probably september?
Hi Jamie... July and August are the hottest and humid in Japan so September probably won’t be so bad. Yes... definitely no photography (for obvious reason too 😅). But at that time there was absolutely no one else there and we had full privacy 😄👍

Sandra Sayonira big thanks for your response, I just checked hotel’s website that the private hot spring is ¥1000/ 30min for rental.

I can’t believe they let you being a video camera in there? Is it allowed?
It was an off peak period where no one was there. That’s why it was ok to bring a video camera.

japanese women are the most beautiful in the world.👍
I think it is against the rule to put town in onsen, no?
You can have a face towel in the onsen to wet your head with.

Hi Ellie... on the contrary, the water is so clean! It contains natural sulphur, naturally hot water from geothermally heated springs.
