Vera was already out of prison in s1e6 (Shayla's death). He ran away and now he's back to partner with our Brave Traveler. I'd have love to see your reaction to THAT reveal, but it's alright. x-x-x The s3e5 comment argument almost spoiled the Price reveal for you and I had to deftly stop that. Price being Angela's father clicked for me in s3e6. In the flashback, Angela's mother mentions stopping a wealthy backer from funding her treatment. And her husband immediately goes out when that is mentioned! Then I remembered everything Price had done for Angela without asking for anything in return and it clicked. x-x-x And yeah Dom is in such a tough position, but generally that is what honesty gets you irl. Let's hope it ends better for her than it did for Gideon! x-x-x Also, I'll say that you don't have to take Irving's words about being Whiterose's lover in the past at face value. Throughout season 3 he manipulated Tyrell and Angela by saying the right thing and he might be doing that here too. Watching the show as it originally aired always had me eager in anticipation to see what happened next. Miss those types of shows having to wait a week and stew on it.
Prepare yourself for season 4. It has one episode that left me just completely in shock for like 15 minutes after I watched it. An absolute masterpiece. It is a crime that this show never even got nominated for anything. Just shows how bullshit all those award shows are anyway.
I forgot that the seed for the most traumatic reveal was planted in this season. I mean, I guess the window story was always there, but it's so subtle you don't connect it with the fact that Elliot is an unreliable narrator until this episode. Everytime that story is mentioned I think about the reveal, but this was the one that connected me back to those emotions and I had a bit of a weep, lol.
If you loved this season you’re in for an absolute blast with season four. Vera has been out of prison since season one and I will say the actor who plays him puts in an acting masterpiece
