If you want to be successful, first and foremost do NOT get into debt. No college loans, credit card debt, etc. spend your time researching scholarships, get a part time job that improves your skills (no restaurants or mall shops). Learn everything you can about managing your money. Read books on finance like Dave Ramsey or Ray Dalio. If you want a upscale lifestyle, you will never achieve it by starting out in debt.
