Hi can you help plz ave set everything up but am a bit confused about the pin code is this the code you put in when first registration of the system ?? As I dont what the alarm going of and can't switch it of ave never set up anything like this before and instructions are rubbish

Unfortunately not no. The only real smart part of this system is that you can arm and disarm it remotely. Oh and you can arm the system with Alexa using the long-winded 'Alexa, ask Yale Smart Living to arm my alarm'
Abit disappointed honestly I believe it should have that feature so we can forget about having to arm and disarm every night and morning. Because it said smart right?
@@smrfingers Could not agree more. "Smart" is just a buzzword for most companies, calling a product smart does not make it so. Yale are one of the worst offenders. That said, I've yet to find an alarm system that I consider "smart" out of the box.

You're right there - the instructions are utter rubbish. Nothing on using the keypad at all for example.

It takes 4 D size batteries which last 18 months to two years.
Did you find out what other door sensors will connect to this alarm? I've already got the hive one fitted and was hoping this would work.
Yes, at the moment nothing other than Yale sensors.
