ok but the RAM is doubled on the 2014 MBP so it explains the result of the cinebench. Are the drives both SSD ? Because if there's a HD in the 2011 MBP, for sure the speed W/R can't be compared with the 2014 MBP SSD. More over, you can't compare results between geekbench 4 and geekbench 5. Indee, a lot of new tests were added on the release 5 : the same machine has its performance decreased by a factor 4 on geekbench 5 compared to geekbench 4. So what I see is that the performances of the 2014 MBP are slightly better than the 2011 MBP
@@Cuadricep04Hi. I figured that out that High Sierra of the 2011 MBP would probably not support the release 5 of geekbench. So the perf are more or less the same, but I was confused by the text "400 X speed" you put 2 times in the video

Both have SSD , 2011 mbp I’ll not support geekbench 5, geekbench 5. Vs 4 is almos the same.
