Thank you, Marina, for your tutorials. I have been learning Moonlight Sonata (just Movement 1 😊) since the Covid-19 quarantine started here in the Philippines, and it has helped me pass the time more productively for personal improvement. I like the way you teach- simple, straightforward, and doable. I wish you good health and more blessings, and please keep on being an inspiration to people who want to learn playing the piano regardless of age or consequence. Godbless!

I would just like to say thank you so much for these tutorials. At the grand young age of 54, I decided to learn the piano. I bought one about 2 months ago and first learned Prelude in C. Am now, slowly tackling this one. I've just got to the end of this part and will continue part 3 in a couple of weeks, once I can play this bit without any mistakes.
Thank you so much for your time and effort in making these videos.

You're very welcome! It's good that you are taking your time and learning each section before going on to the next one. That is the quickest way to progress, if you practice regularly.

I am also doing your technique course. I have noticed that my hands are much more relaxed when I start a new section in the tutorial than when I started. So I would recommend that course too to anyone who wants to learn how to play this and other piano pieces.

you know, im a guitar player. its what i do but i do play piano too, enough to write harmonies and melodies for my songs and enough to say learn this song. after listening to this song for years and going to sleep to it, knowing it so well, being in love with every bar and then to learn it . i dont even know what to say . he was like some tormented creature , when you're forced to slow things down and really hear the relationship between the notes he chose ..its the most beautiful thing i've ever heard. id love to have picked his brain. thanks again for the lessons. you're a real treat.

Everyone have their own ways of learning different things. Kids are able to learn (if not most) somethings faster than Adults. Period.

You have to know how to read notes to play the moonlight Sonata. You can't learn it by watching somebody's fingers on a Piano.
