  • One of the latest Foreign Affairs articles again calls for more war and the expansion US military dominance across the globe with US "allies" (aka expendable satellites). The Military-Industrial-Thinktank-Complex again at its worst is raising its ugly face in the hope to racking in more money for itself and the wars they want to commit while framing its insanity in terms of vertue and peace. When will we stop these sick monsters?

And I tell people, the US was at the height of it's international prestige back in 2003, now outside of already shackled vassals in Europe, nobody take the US with adulation like it was almost customary going back decades. It took two world wars to finally undone the once mighty British empire, look at what sad little country UK have become from once a glorious nation, in just 7 decades.

I’m Nigerian so I can comment on the business end of US foreign and neo liberal policies.
Nigeria officially produces about 1.5 million barrels of Oil per day. It’s actually more but no one is counting. One way to steal more is to declare less. But do the maths, that’s no less than $3.5 per month! What we get is $600m! And we’ve not talked about the gas. That’s for the Oil companies.
Then about 73% of our taxes generated across the board are remitted to abroad in the name of debt repayment. Since I was born we are repaying debts. We don’t know what we are borrowing for because we don’t see any new things but we are owing and paying every month of every year of every decade. For this to happen, our leaders must agree or they will make trouble. So the US selects the worst of us by giving them as much dollars they need to win or better said to buy elections. Our leaders then hand over our wealth in exchange for the peanuts they can share or they get replaced sometimes tragically and the rest of the people can swim to Europe to clean their toilets if we like. That’s what the US calls total spectrum dominance!
And that’s why they are insistent on not slipping up by ensuring this type of thing happens everywhere on earth to keep the US comfortable in its accustomed lifestyle.

    Interoperability is such a joke:
    1) The US uses Imperial Units while everyone else uses the Metric System
    2) There is still competition among all of the Western countries about which ones should build which armaments. Remember the fight over Australian submarines between France and the US. Does interoperability mean everything must be made in the US?
    3) Remember the Iraq war where the largest force besides the US was the British and they were sent on a completely separate mission to manage the South of Iraq. Some interoperability.
    4) The US can't even manage interoperability within the US. They created a Frankenplane (F-35) that tried to be everything to every service and is failing everywhere.
    5) The West decided a while ago that it was in such great control of the World that it didn't need to support a manufacturing base. So even if the West somehow figures out the interoperability problem, all they can do is issue CDO's and CDS's to finance the manufacture of armaments and place hedges on whether or not certain weapon systems will be built. Financialized economies are incapable of defending themselves.

That means this thing doesnt even fly half of the time....On top of that, as the OP described it as frankenplain XD, the plane is 'versatile' yet useless as it doesnt specialise. It cant dogfight, itss not really stealthy, its not fast. In short a giant FAILURE.

The government of this country has recently signed up an agreement in Washington by which up to 17 locations all along the country are handed out to the Americans for them to build up military ”defenses”. Locations in which swedish law will not apply. Pascal makes an appeal to the japanese people common sense and intelligente. In 1967 the USA ran out of Money fighting a single conflict in Southeast Asia.
The ability to open a second War was beyond the ability of Treasury to support it.
LBJ was unable to declare a War on Poverty.
That seemed to sink His prospects for re-election in 1968.
Few appear to understand the problems that Economic weakness creates for any Administration.
The ability to conduct any effort to intimidate begins to cost more with each Administration.
The last 20 years of Victoria Nuland's War have cost more than Treasury seems capable of supporting?
As Banks fail to round up enough Cash to cover Payroll,
the FED appears to be limiting the amount of liquid assets they can distribute.
Yellen seems to be having difficulty finding Buyers for Her T-Notes?

Japan has been trying to remilitarize and the US is happy to help them do so. I think maybe a conversation about that will be helpful in seeing where Japan is in this narrative. Japan is also occupied and largely a vassal to the US--at least the Japanese government. The other thing is, I think an honest conversation and analysis a/b the EU, and W. Europe, in particular, not only being vassals to the US, but also being fully participatory in this madness also needs to be had. Europe and the West have always thought of themselves as superior and the current state of geopolitics exposes that in spades. White supremacy is a very real thing and this period of Russophobia and Sinophobia simply expose it and hide the reality of Europeans slaughtering each other for a millenium before unleashing its violence on the rest of the planet. The fact of the casual acceptance of the genocides in DRC and The Sudan, exposes that. The pretense of African sovereignty is laughable if it weren't so destructive and violent. We simply happen to be in a moment where Palestine provides a spotlight on this reality.

I understand that, since joining NATO, Switzerland has been inveigled into allowing a lot of US military bases on its soil, and to allow the American military much greater freedom to do as it wishes in Sweden than is currently permitted in Japan.

American voters in general are also to blame. I am sick and tired of all the talk about either Biden or Trump. Don't they know about Jill Stein? Don't anybody tell me Stein stands no chance. Voting for someone with even a 1% chance is better than voting for a 100% genocide enabler.

My post stating there's Jill Stein was swiftly censored by UT. Freedom of speech my foot. People who vote for Biden or Trump are complicit in you know what.

You may want to interview a historian in Empires and draw similarities to see how imperialism and colonialism is ingrained in the DNA of western thought. So much so people like John Meishimer also suffer from the same dissonance seeing the rest of the world as exactly like them. They couldn't care less about understanding history and philosophical thought of Chinese and other eastern civilizations.

seriously, we humans need to be kicked by extraterrestrial beings, to finally decide to cooperate together instead of stupidly fighting each other 😢
I am afraid the problem is not only these "wo-mongers", I'm sure many leaders must cooperate to continue with this madness
