Great Video Dan - some fantastic footage and advice. Thanks again for sharing your knowledge, certainly some tips I will take away next time I'm out chasing the Goldens.
Hey thanks for your comment, much appreciated. I’m a bit of a tinkerer when it comes to my sounders, always adjusting to find the sweet spot. In short I run TVG on low, ghost reject off, noise reject high, gain around 68-70 colour gain up around 80. I run on 12v lithium with good clean wiring 0 degree mount on the transducer Running latest software That’s pretty much it for settings
Hey Mark, I use a 15lb braid. I’m not exactly sure what it is but having tried a few it’s the pick (it’s just an old random spool in the shed) The trick is it’s gotta be a firm braid not one that goes all frayed and cotton like after a bit, if it’s too soft it doesn’t sit right and will tangle. If anything it’s best to go a heavier braid rather then lighter.
Thanks John, I use a size 12 which is free swinging on a 30lb braid tied back to the jighead. I give the braid one wrap around the bend of the hook which helps hold it where it needs to be
Awesome video can’t wait for yella season now . What knot are you using when tying the light leader to braid ? I’ve been using an improved albright but it has let me down a few times now .
Hey David, I tie the stinger onto the end of the piece of line then simply half hitch it a few times to the tie point on the jighead. Sounds like you are getting right into it, have you seen the Social Fishing platform?
@@DanWebberFishing no... I'm looking to go live either lowrance or Garmin haven't decided yet still weighing it up...any little tricks I can adapt to my own fishing...I like how you tease the fish into biting...the strike zone is fairly small.

Thanks Phil, great idea
Great Video Dan!!
Quick question… what do you tie your stinger hooks onto your jig head with?
Is the same sized leader line as your main leader?

Great content, what size is your stinger treb Dan.? Is it free swinging or pinned in the plastic.?
