He is hired to assassinate

Screaming through the Nevada desert in a bullet-riddled automobile, cunning con artist Teddy Murretto devises a scheme to evade fatal assassin Bob Viddick. He attacks rookie officer Valerie Young, which leads to his detention and confinement in a small-town police station. However, incarceration can only keep Murretto safe for so long, as Viddick plots his own way into detention, waiting in a nearby cell until he can finish his purpose.
