Yeah - I guess that's why companies often keep some in basic corporate livery etc.
The Transport Lens The old old BET and Tilling ways are still present in how bus companies do things.
Northern or Go North East as they prefer these days is a typical BET company. BET were more relaxed as long as it was profitable, you could paint the buses any colour you liked and give it any name you liked too.
Arriva (formally United, of course) are typical Tilling. They are more standardised.
