The only twizzlers that I actively buy are the strawberry and lemon filled ones. Gives it actual flavor, and they are less stiff to the bite.

personally, despite the commercials over the years that looked cool, it felt like twizzlers were always something that you could use as a edible decoration for your gingerbread, and not something that I would, I only ate it if it was gifted to me but I would prefer about every other thing possible then the twizzler.
but the history of the twizzler is more interesting, even seeing their old experiments of different styles, stuffing the twizzler or the pull apart and multicolored twizzlers look like they would be good to make a comeback, but it would have to be done right.
the Caramel Apple fill-up Straws were the best ones, idk if they still make those, but they were exceptional, less plastic texture with green apple flavoring and a thick caramel goo on the inside.

Honestly, prefer Twizzlers over Red Vines. Although I concede to the plasticky texture, to me they have a better flavor; Red Vines have an odd aftertaste.

I have never been a fan of liquorish.. it tastes chalky and waxy with an artificial fruit flavor. It feels like my body is telling me this isn't supposed to be eaten. They would hand these out to the class when I was in kindergarten and I would always give mine away
