    Damn I always thought Gran turismo had the most accurate Nordschleife but that automobilista 2 looked good. I need to check this out

    simhub lets you add effects for flags, red, yellow, blue etc, plus a few more effects that can be useful!
    thanks for the video, followed your tutorial!
    I still trying to figure out he best position for the lights: top, botton of the screen.. facing the ceiling etc----

      @@aker2KK Thanks for watching. Best position is top pointing down towards your wheel. I need to change how I have mounted them. Not the best but ok for now. Let me know what you decide. 😎

    thanks for the video. whats about 3 buttons control box? this device its really necessary? comes with light bars kit?

    • @virtualmotorheads
      @virtualmotorheads  4 месяца назад +1

      It comes with it and yes, it is necessary. I first thought it wasn't, until I saw nothing happens with the lights without the control box.
      But like I said, it is included. So no problem. 😉
      Thanks for watching!

    Love my Govee lights for all my races. Cost slightly less than Phillips Hue and has endless potential.

    i M having an issue actually setting up the lights with AMS2 only...the lights works fine with other games but with AMS2 they do the transitions on the main menu but during the rave they get stuck on one color and i dont have any effects...have you faced something loke this before?

    • @virtualmotorheads
      @virtualmotorheads  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hmmmm...I sometimes experience something similar. Almost like Simhub loses connection to the lights. I it doesn't happen all the time. It will then shine a solid colour for a few seconds and then connect again and it is gone. Remember the lights work with Bluetooth and Wifi...so it can potentially lose connection to your pc. Doesn't make sense that it only works in the menu and not in the game when racing. Maybe I can help you troubleshoot. 🙂Did you buy Simhub or are you using the free version?

      @@virtualmotorheads thanks for your reply. I have full version of simhub, and I am using a tablet to display a dash. I have used the same setup with AssettoCorsa and AssettoCorsaCompetizione and is all good. Only AMS2 gives me this problem. I have tried also to reinstall the lights on Simhub but I have the same issue.

      @@Sim4Passion That is so strange that only the one game is giving you this problem. How is the rest of Simhub functioning with Ams2? You say you have a tablet with a dash. Anything else like bass shakers? Sorry to hear that you struggling with Ams2. Really one of my most favourite racing games to play.

      @@virtualmotorheads Yes, so my setup during the gaming session is a tablet with a dash and a bass shaker. I use the same setup with all the games. Only AMS2 gives me this issue. I don't really now how, to fix it. Strange thing is...everything is ok if I go around the main menu 😅

      @@Sim4Passion Very similar setup to mine. I have 4 bass shakers, tablet and mobile phone and then the Govee lights. I really would like to help you solve this problem.
      Will see if I can find out what is wrong and hopefully help you fix the issue.

      True...the camera does not do it justice, unfortunately 😕. You have to experience it in person. I will most definitely try and do another video where you can see it. Nevertheless totally worth it. Thanks for watching! 👍🏻

    I'm surprised nobody has made a simple USB LED hub that can be controlled via Simhub, that you can simply plug any ARGB lights into. It wouldn't need to be much, just a little $25 device, if that.
    Having to install Synapse made this a non-starter for me, but I see in the description you said it isn't necessary. I'm looking at the lights on Amazon right now, they're $50, currently with a 25% discount. It's tempting. Currently I use a couple refurb Fire tablets on the rig, using Simhub to put a dash on one and the other as a flag indicator.

    • @virtualmotorheads
      @virtualmotorheads  6 месяцев назад

      Yes...Synapse not necessary. Someones sent me a message afterwards. But then it was too late. I like what you saying about the hub...it would be so simple. 😅
      Thanks for watching man. Appreciate your comment. 👍🏻

      @@virtualmotorheads Can someone explain how it's not necessary? How do you get it to work without synapse??

      @@frootiebootie3689 Connect the lights to your wifi via the govee app then open “ambient lights” in simhub click “govee lights at the top of the page and you’ll see the option to search for your lights.
      What happens after that is pretty well covered in the video. Good luck!

      You really don't need Synapse. I've tried it with & without

      @@joseywales1039 Do you still need the Govee Desktop app? I can get Simhub to find my lights but they just flicker and cycle colors, they don't capture the desktop
