Im not sure. He was to big to get in the trap. So his shell must have been at-least 10 inches across.

Wow! Would you please look at the video I just posted and let me know if that's a snapping turtle? It was about 1 foot long x 10 inches wide. We thought she laid eggs in our yard, but the nest wasn't really dug out. Lake Ontario, New York State. Thanks, ny2japan
