My daughter works on RCL ships and here’s what she does…she renews her Medical onboard! Easy and free or low cost! Also she does a Target “pick up order” in the port her overnight hotel is located in and stocks up on all her “heavy” toiletries do she doesn’t have to fly with them! She then will hop an Uber to go pickup after she chks into hotel! Genius!
You can buy spray on fabric cleaner for your suitcase & then Scotchguard it. You can always check in the automotive section - it's used for cleaning fabric car seats.
For the packing cubes in the beginning I thought the big ones were cool, but as I packed a few trips I found having more of the smaller ones work better. Easier to fit in everything including carryon bags.

Got off the Wonder 2 weeks ago and have to say it had the best upbeat and beautiful ice show of all the 7 Oasis cruises I’ve been on so far. Anxious to see what parts you’ll play in the show. I know you’ll do great. Keep up the great blogs. I’ve booked the Wonder for next year again mainly because of the Ice and water shows. It’s a fantastic ship.

I just want to say how inspiring you are and how much I appreciate your videos that are filled with positivity and happiness even when there’s sad things that happen. I’ve been watching you for a while and I just appreciate your outlook on life and it’s really helped me to change my outlook on life and to try to be a better person in general. I’ve been trying to work on myself and be a better person and it may sound weird, but watching your videos has help with that along with me working on myself personally in many ways. The last month of my life has been such a roller coaster… Well, I guess my entire life has been a roller coaster, but anyways. I'm not sure packing cubes are that helpful for your specific trip (just going from A to B and then unpacking permanently), but on trips where you are travelling from place to place a lot they are super helpful! Especially backpacking - the smaller ones are great cause you can just pile them up in your pack (underwear in one, tops in another, shorts/leggings in another etc) and find everything easily. For the dirty suitcase, it might be worth getting one of those suitcase protectors - they are just a piece of fabric that sits over the top and zips around the suitcase. You were actually the first cruise video I ever watched. I mentioned this to the ice captain on adventure of the seas and he said he would be on with you on Wonder. I also asked him the dumbest question ever. He checked me in for muster and I saw the ice captain tag and asked if he normally works on ice cutters. 😂 Btw the ice show we saw far exceeded my expectations as a pretty hard core skating fan.
I have a similar houndstooth checked pattern luggage. So cute but gets dirty every time. I wash with a washcloth and dish soap after each flight but it’s a PITA. Anyone got advice?

I agree, 12 days is an unreasonable amount of time to wait for paperwork, especially if you have already been "cleared". When you call on Monday, let that office know you will be filing a complaint with whatever agency provided the referral to that provider/office, whomever is paying for this service (your insurance? the cruise line's?), the medical licensing board, the Office of Professional Medical Conduct, NYS Department of Health, and the cruise line that this provider/office is the reason you have not been able to submit the documents on time. That should get a response quickly. Good luck!

We have had a lot of problems with gstting medical information back. I take care of my mom, and it is frustrating, because she has lots if health problems. Just today, I found some referrals again did not get done. I feel for yiu. So frustrating!

Long distance relationships are not the easiest especially when you as far apart as America and England. But you have both got this and believe me when I day it makes your relationship stronger in the long run. Like you my husband and I did the UK/US long distance for 9 months after my Disney international college program ended. We have now been married 14 years. Also, sounds like your dealing with a nightmare when it comes to your medical.
Re. sharp skates. I went in to do the show one day, and we didn't have warmup ice. So I stepped on as the show started, and realised my skates had just been sharpened!! 😱 It was a nightmare. After the show I was going crazy, thinking it was done as a "joke" (not funny, nearly killed myself lol), but it turned out my friend accidentally sharpened my skates, thinking I'd asked him to do them! 🙈 omg 😆⛸️
Sorry the medical office you went to is not doing their job of providing your results! That should only take a day or two! That’s crazy!! If it wasn’t an hour away I would have gone back in person and was like what’s up? Who do I need to talk to to get my results??

Don’t get me wrong I love free healthcare (from Canada) but our system is terrible and your experience with your health provider is always what we experience here. So I feel your frustration
No you need to call that office back be polite but firm and assertive 12 days is it ridiculous. You need to call them back and be like look I was there 12 days ago and you haven’t submitted the paperwork and I need this for my job it needs to be sent today I’m going to be calling every hour until it’s sent. Always be nice and don’t be rude, but don’t be afraid to be firm and push for some thing especially when they’re screwing up on their end. You were patient and now they’re making a mistake that’s creating problems for you they need to take care of it. Especially for some thing like a basic physical they’re not waiting on test results they screwed up and didn’t put the paperwork in that should only take at most a few days not 2 weeks.
Honestly you have to follow the rules of the ship I would just be happy to get a job on that ship and if they put me through hoops then so be it everything is a hassle in life I've waited 5 hours for stuff before you always seem to get contracts cause you know people so that's a positive thing and not everyone's a professional skater

packing cubes are so good! so easy to keep all your clothes and items organised instead of digging through your suitcase and messing things up
