So much character . I’d be tempted to go down the built engine route and run some stupid numbers . So much car for the money ! Did you find your car pulls decently at 280bhp with the stock turbo ?

This has got me excited to get it done, just the boost I Needed. Sanj makes me laugh, running 600+, spinning up all 4 and barely holding wheel. So cool. Love that the interior is absolutely stock and complete apart from the back seat, could have been filmed in my car, makes me want to get back out there.
I love this great detail on the engine I’m putting a 1.8t engine from a mk1 into my kit car looking to get it too 250bhp ish because it only ways 450kilos
I know this kind of setup with the big laggy turbowon't produce the best times but Christ does that look fun! Jamie's eyes look like he's just rolled out of helter skelter, don't see that every day
@@The_MostHigh I think this one could probably be better set up with a boost by gear map or similar. Something that stops that crazy boost up take. Although that would take away from the fun of it.
100-200 kph times can only be shown on the OG battles. If he showed those times on these kind of reviews then that would be concrete evidence of breaking the law and we can't have that

Hahaha, i feel it :D my TT mk1 APX was dynoed with 400 whp on ethanol, and i shaved off over 200kg weight, using haldex controller and locked 50/50, on wet to moist roads, it was full wheel spin on all 4 in 1st and 2nd gear xD crazy stuff,, love that little wicked 4 banger! Very good engine.
I have a stock MK1, I can appreciate what has gone into this and also shocked how some of the standard parts have been retained for this build. Also, it’s funny to see the polar opposite facial expressions during acceleration! Great content guys..

Yeah i would prefer 400-500 bhp with a smaller turbo resulting in a more usable powerband, still though is a cool build with plenty of character
