Thanks Jon! Great camera work. My whole family watched and learned! Our 2 little daughters kept commenting that everyone there only came up to your shoulder in height! They call you the Gentle Giant now! God bless!
I’ve got a great view from my height. I’m also really good at changing light bulbs and hanging Christmas lights. Thanks for watching.
Keep on tractoring!
I really like the idea of electric tractors. Even 6 hours is pretty good for homeowner stuff
Thanks for taking us along on your walk around of the show. It looks like I could spend days there checking out all the exhibitors! It was nice to see that Mallard 5 was able to make it in to talk with you.
Electric vehicle’s are a fools game.
Darn Jon !! You should have picked me up on Your way there LOL.
Looks like a good time.
Mike M.
CJ has a great channel. Good dude. Enjoyed the video Jon. 👍
He’s a great guy! So nice talking with him.
Keep on tractoring!
Well my question was answered about the Soltracter and engine noise
Still curious about long term service and maintenance availability since 1st generation.
Look forward to more reviews
Thanks for sharing
I can't tell you how nice it was meeting you in person Jon! Wish we could've spent more time together, but we will definitely have to meet up again in the future!
We will definitely have to spend more time together at some point.

@@ritterjon wow the new 37hp f3710 kubota thats a nice front mount wished had that for sidewalks cheaper then a $202,000 75hp holder tractor
Good tour Jon. I like the idea of that electric tractor for a small farm but at $32K for a 25hp is gonna be a hard sell when you can get a L4701HST for about that. But no HST to change at 400hrs!!!
Right now it’s a price point I think geared towards production constraints. It will become more competitive as the market expands.
Keep on tractoring!
This is so much fun! It was wonderful meeting you in person
Hope to see you again on Friday!
Keep on tractoring!
Outstanding informative video Sir ( very nice electric tractor and the very large mower is impressive !!! ) Cheers
Thanks Dave! Apparently there are even two larger ones. I’ll keep looking for them.
Keep on tractoring!
Good morning from Connecticut, lots of beautiful equipment.
There is so much to see! Just not enough time to see it all.
Keep on tractoring!
Great video jon ..im here in southern Ireland but I'm loving all the new equipment
Awesome! Glad your enjoying it.
Keep on tractoring!
John I know your a Kubota guy but swing by the Kioti booth for me today between 3-4:30 , Trace Atkins will be there would love to see that in a video. 👍✊Great video Thanks for showing us around might have to get there for this show also someday.
Keep in mind when you watch Fridays video that I read this comment after I published the video. 😂😂
Keep on tractoring!
@@ritterjon Was worth a shot. Thanks John
I have a Solectrac E25 electric tractor at my hobby farm in Wisconsin. I bought it direct and it was delivered in December. It’s been terrific. Mine has a front loader, so I use it for moving snow, trail and driveway maintenance, grading, and normal hobby farm stuff. Range is a non-issue for me. I use it for whatever I’m doing that day, then plug it in to an ordinary 120 volt outlet to charge overnight. No trouble operating in the Wisconsin cold, and it has awesome torque. Ordinary Cat 1 hook-ups. No diesel rattle!! No exhaust. No oil or gas or diesel fuel on my farm anymore. It just hums.
Very interesting that cold isn't an issue. Thanks for sharing!
In 20 years it will either need a battery or a control board and the company will be out of business and that thing will be as good as a boat anchor.
Ha, maybe. Like Minneapolis-Moline? Solectrac tractors are manufactured by Escorts, founded in 1944 and sells into 40 countries, so I’m thinking they will outlast me. The components are pretty beefy. I love the electric innovation in this space, though. More to come, I hope.
@@MyFriendPeter-d4k I had a car for 4 years that needed an engine. Some horse a hundred years ago got a broken leg too.
@@MyFriendPeter-d4k It's coming for sure. I use an electric zero turn and a plug in hybrid car. Both are a little ahead of their time but not by much. When the little nuclear power plants are finally accepted and integrated, all but the biggest will be electric.
Great video Jon! It was great to see you this year, maybe some day will get you a Ventrac! 😂 Safe travels!
You know I would love that opportunity! It was great seeing you as well.
Keep on tractoring!
I am pretty much a Stihl guy. I do, however, have an Echo pole saw that I am very impressed with. No doubt that Echo makes good stuff.
I'm gonna' get there one day! Great walk-around Jon!
Thanks for the tour!
Hey Jon they make electric tractors wow . Cub cadet make electric lawn tractors. Even greenworks zero turn mower and ego makes zero turn mower. Greenworks make lawn mower ego make lawn mower chain saw. Trimmer lots of power equipment. Even greenworks make lots of power equipment.
It's just like being there! Well, not quite :)
So much to see!
Keep on tractoring
Awesome thanks jon
Thanks for watching!
Keep on tractoring!
I think that you should maybe contact Kubota, and tell them that they should have one of those seats, and they should maybe install it on your BX.
wow such a nice machine! How much are these?
Interestingly enough, this Soletrac is just a Farmtrac FT26G with a different name that happens to be made in India. Kubota also has a deal with Farmtrac and they actually sell the Farmtrac FT26 (Diesel version) under Kubota name and colors, called Kubota EK1-261. Recently they also anounced an electric tractor, which will most likely be this very same Farmtrac.
This is all very interesting, there is so much behind the scenes deals that are made. Looking forward to what Kubota will introduce. JD has an electric tractor at the show.
Nice video
I was thinking about going this year but I was too busy
Maybe next year.

Why on earth aren't the tractor makers using lead acid batteries for tractors? Cheap to make, simple to charge, recyclable and heavy which is a feature in small tractors. All these people running light weight tractors with diesel engines are buying expensive weights to hold them down. Add weight to a Lithium battery tractor and it shortens the operating time. Could do the same thing with about 18 golf cart batteries (900lbs of center of mass weight). Replace them in 5 years for $1800. Sell the old ones to the folks with small diesel tractors. We can use them as weights on the 3pt hitch🤣🤣
Simple reason is lead acid doesn’t last as long.
Keep on tractoring!
What brand was the 120” 49hp mower at the end? What’s the price?
It’s a Lastec. It’s supposed to be the widest articulating mower on the market.
Keep on tractoring
Interesting, it looks like TYM took the Branson branding off and is just TYM. I wonder if they are going to eliminate Branson as a brand but keep their models. (the 4820R at the end is what I'm referring to, 4820 is a Branson model)
From what I’ve heard, Branson is done and will continue under the TYM brand.
Keep on tractoring!
@@ritterjon Awesome. There's a Branson (and Kioti) dealer really close to me so I hope they start carrying TYM. The 3620H looks like a beast. That's if the dealer doesn't just drop them completely...
can you please make a video of the Greenworks Commercial Booth?
I will try and make that happen for you. 😁👍 Anything particular that you wanted to see?
Keep on tractoring!
@@ritterjon The utility vehicles!
If I only had enough land and money to justify the purchase!!!
Did you have fun??? Was there lots of electric equipment at the show.....
I’m having a great time at the show! There is so much to see!
Keep on tractoring!
probably good for 2 acres maybe 5
Hustler makes a zero turn mower with an 8 foot deck
I’m going to try and find it.
Keep on tractoring!
6 hours under load?
Not sure, I think time will tell. I’ve heard a rumor that they might be making a deal with Kubota. 🤷♂️
Keep on tractoring!
Go get yourself a Kubota f series and put a flail mower on the front. 🙃🙃🙃
Not a bad idea!

Electric will fail. Once it’s pushed so much to be all green. You’ll see. Our power grids are not built for it. You can not recycle lithium batteries. It’s to toxic to recycle. Plus it cost more in fuels to produce everything that’s goes in all electrical equipment. Do your research people. Look at how much it costs in fuel and labor just to make a battery!!Look at fuel and labor cost at making copper wires!! Not to mention costs to make electric motors which is %80 copper.
The industry is going that way, it will be. A slow conversion but it will happen. Solutions to many of those issues are being made because of the demand.
Keep on tractoring!
That's all demonstrably false. Home ev chargers are 16-20 amps. Basically, a single circuit in your box. We've added more power draw than that with all the tech gadgets we use in our home. Our grid certainly can handle evs just fine. Lithium is recyclable, easily. It's not currently economical to do because the demand isn't there for it yet but shortly will be. Australia just started implementing a new recovery process for lithium ore which doubles the efficiency of refining. This cuts the fuel and labor input by more than half. Currently there are dozens of individual battery advancements being worked on that in a myriad of combinations will double the power of batteries, or keep same capacity but cut the size in half. There are multiple designs that are reducing or eliminating lithium, cobalt, and nickel. We are at the very beginning of ev and battery tech, comparable to the Ford model a Era of cars. Look at how far ev cars have come in the last 20 years, and think how far evs will develop in just a decade.
@@SweetLou0523 it not faults. It’s all true. Big city’s can handle The power problems. The out the the woods country folk can not. The most any old farms around me has a maximum of 50 amp power service. Not 200 amp service. As for the battery’s. No one will ever recycle them. The IS government has been pushing recycling for over 40 years. And guess what. Not of it was recycled. Just dumped in a land fill or sold to china which just stopped buying recyclables. Cause there no money to be make in it. Do some research before you call me out cause I know a shit ton more then you apparently. I’m a mechanical engineer from a small farming town with the average field size of 1 square mile!!!! How running for office it fix all this broken systems and lies being told.
I won’t be replacing my 2021 F-350 Or 2021 Kubota BX with electric ⚡️ anything anytime soon! 🤮 The government can buy me out at fair market value for both if they think I will! 🤣
Why would the government buy your tractor?
The video is reviewing compact tractors, I'm not sure how F-350 got thrown into the word salad.
I think he just realized that he made a mistake buying a gas-engine truck and tractor, so he’s hoping the American government will buy them back from him so he can buy an electric pick-up and tractor, instead.
What a waste of money and time
Batteries will keep you broke and down
No thanks
