Back in the day, I was always happy to buy a moss covered, mouldy car (as long as it sounded ok). A morning spent cleaning and valeting always paid off. Because even if it turned out to be a complete Nail, put it back through the Auction and get a couple hundred profit.
This little Hyundai looks like it has plenty of life left in it, I’m sure that, once you’ve brought it back to its best, it will make a reliable budget runaround for someone.
It's surprising how a list of to do jobs can mushroom up and up. Sorry about mentioning mushrooms with that mold😅 car should be good for someone when all's done.great vid as usual.

Hi Lee it's john from Gibraltar, another decent purchase, these are quite reliable cars and sell well. This particular unit is a good buy and when all issues are fixed there is a good potential profit as you mention.Good luck mate.
I'm not trying to be a knob but it sounds like the chain is a bit loose there? That aside, loving watching your videos and seeing what you're doing and whats happening in the car market. So interesting and shows people you can buy a decent runner for not much money. These people spending big money financing approved used Peugeots are mad.
it did have a little bit of chain rattle at first, the test drive was the first time its been out in over 2 years, i was working on it yesterday and it seemed ok but i am going to flush the oil and see how we go with it. if it needs a chain it will have to be done bud

Hi Lee, I tried buying the Topdon JS2000 a few weeks ago and your recommended seller wont ship to Ireland. I bought one elsewhere. Now I fancy the TOPDON ARTI DIAG600S because I recently sold my Autel unit as it wasn't talking to some vehicles and its the same story. I would prefer to support your sponsor and not take a chance on getting a clone but what can I do. Enjoy the channel BTW.
I had an i20 on an EK11 plate from new, so one year newer than that. was a 1.4 auto, great car. best bit about these is the voice activated mobile phone which is better than I have seen on any other car. the colour in the middle of the seats was a £500 option when I bought mine, so obviously I just went with fully black seats. I did think when I had it that the door handles were a silly design, and were bound to lead to the paint getting worn and corrosion, although it never happened while I had it. mine was part ex'd at 3 years for about £ 6,000 which again shows how much car values have gone up since then. good luck with this one.
