Good video but you need to leave the checkmarks for white balance and exposure to get the correct color tones from the Presets. If you uncheck those the colors will not match correctly. 👍🏽
my friend sent me her Lightroom mobile preset as a dng but I tried opening it on my computer & it's not allowing me to open the file. my computer keeps saying "DNG could not be opened, preview does not support this raw file format." can somebody please help me. Does she need to change the image from raw to jpg & then send me a new DNG ? I am using the new Mac book air, so shouldn't have any issues because of the computer I'm using.

If you already have LR on your computer, you can auto-sync those presets onto your phone! But if you're looking to convert to DNG, simply apply the preset to a photo, then go to file save menu > export with preset > Export as DNG
Great question! Really easy actually. Apply your preset to any raw file, then go up to "file-->export with preset" and you'll be able to save that photo as a DNG with all the XMP preset settings included.

@@CristianGarcia You should still be able to save the settings as a new preset inside of Lightroom! Or copy the settings over to a non-dng photo and THEN save as a new preset if the first doesnt' work. Glad you found a solution though

As in... you have 1000 presets all as DNG files? Lol... sounds like you went on a torrent binge... In which case I have no sympathy haha. TBH though, you really don't need so many presets - Odds are you only use a handful of them, so just keep the ones you use and eliminate the junk.

you’ll need to open the dng in lightroom, not in preview!

Go to the library view and it will work. If you're in develop module the drag and drop import doesn't work

Ah that can be a little tricky. It will be located under applications or under your "other" folder somewhere - Its rather silly and hard to find.

Hi Cristian! If you are on a version of LR with xmp support it will automatically save as an xmp :)
