Dude, I’m an upper extremity amputee I was with the 2/2 G. Co Raiders in Afghanistan 2009. Rekluse allows me to ride my softail even though I can’t pull a clutch lever. Immediately subscribed.
Thank you for your sacrifice! Much respect for continuing to ride 🤟🏽 This easy upgrade absolutely helps. Thank you for the support and watching the Channel!
The best instructions video I’ve seen. Thank you. I’m about to do mu clutch fluid and remove the rod deflector. Just installed the fat clutch rod on 2019 SGS. Brake fluid next. Bought the MightyVac.
I dig that bleeder kit. I need to add one to the garage. That slave cylinder looks like a nice upgrade. Less wear and tear on your clutch hand. Awesome video brother. Semper Fi!👊
This kit is awesome! Makes it a lot easier to do these services. It’s even easier when your not filming it lol. My hand definitely feels better after installing it. I’m 99% sure I’ll be installing either the torque or Auto clutch, just to make it even better. Thank you for the support brother 🤟🏽 Always Faithful 🇺🇸
Oh man! I’ve almost been there. I was skeptical at first, but after riding with it in various scenarios, I absolutely approve. Absolute comfort would be the Auto clutch, so that might be next. Thank You for watching 🤟🏽
I have a 114” M8 with hydraulic clutch and at 68 years of age have no problem with using the clutch in urban traffic. Holy 💩, just looked at the price of one.
It’s an absolute game changer. The stock hydraulic clutch is manageable. But once you install one of these, you wish you would’ve done it sooner. Yes, price is definitely up there 👆
Just had one fitted to my 2020 Roadglide Special as i have a stage 3 engine upgrade with heavy duty clutch springs fitted. Difference is unreal . Well worth the investment as clutch is so light and smooth now and no more on off feel with the hydraulic clutch
Excellent instructions! Thank you! I had no idea about Recluse slave cylinder before your video came up! Probably will get on once I put more miles on my bike.
Gonna get this on my 19 Road Glide. Going on Run For the Wall in May starting in Ca to DC..then going to the Middle East Conflicts Wall in Marseilles Il from there..6000 miles of riding and I’ll appreciate the lighter pull riding in the formations we will be doing. Thanks for the video..looks not hard to do at all.
Man, that sounds like an amazing trip! This will definitely help, I’ve been enjoying it so far. Glad this video helps, and thank you for the support 🤟🏽
Learned about this amazing product. Then realized my 2021 has a cable not hydrologic. Back to the drawing board. HD switched back to cable but didn’t fix this issue.
They went back to a cable clutch 2021. I have it on my 2021 street glide. Recluse also has the Auto Clutch www.rekluse.com/?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw6JS3BhBAEiwAO9waFwfP_Y-34HHhIZxg1qfUDJuNm0u34F_cBxGWBO3AznQn2oDucbe76BoCKesQAvD_BwE
It’s a huge difference. I didn’t believe it at first, and didn’t know anyone that had it. I’m a big fan now, and I highly recommend it. Always Faithful 🤟🏽🇺🇸
If you can work around the headers, you should be fine, but you have a cable clutch, so this would not be compatible. I’m pretty sure the 07 is a cable clutch, unless you converted it to a hydraulic
I’ve been wanting to install the Rekluse, but I mainly want it because of a broader friction zone. Can you comment on this aspect please? The HD stock slave cylinder is more of a on-off feeling with a very narrow friction zone. Does the Rekluse have a better feeling or wider friction zone?
It does have a little more adjustment/friction zone, but not much. For me, it’s all about the lighter lever pull. You can always play around with the clutch adjustment
Cable clutch does not use the slave cylinder and hydraulic fluid. It has an adjustment screw inside the clutch basket. Look up a video how to adjust the clutch, it will show it.

Thanks!

Thanks RW…mine turned up Friday after watching your review..will be fitting this week..awesome as ever
That’s awesome! Thank you for supporting the channel
Really appreciate the detail on the video and for sure the links to all of the products. Thanks for your service!
Thank You! I definitely appreciate the support
Knew you had military time by the demo setup. A++ Video. Thank you.
Thank You! I definitely appreciate the support 🤘🏽
Ooorah, after elbow injury I will be looking into this. Thanks for the video! SEMPER Fi
Absolutely! I definitely enjoy it, helps a lot. Thank you and Semper Fi!
Great video. I saved hundreds doing this myself versus taking to dealer. $50 bucks for a mityvac. Thanks for the detailed video.
That’s awesome! That’s what it’s all about. Thank You 🙏🏽

Being a cabinet maker for the past 46 years it finally happened, table saw vs thumb. Clutch hand so I think I’ll be looking into a rekluse

Thank You! Absolutely, I’m definitely enjoying it. More miles the better
Can a cable clutch be improved with this hydraulic system? a possible swap?
Great video, thanks!
Unfortunately not. The system is only designed for the hydraulic clutch
Even if this system is converted, from master cylinder all the way to your product (slave cylinder)?@@RAIDERWORLD
Mueller makes a clutch assist for cable-actuated HD's. It's called a Power Easy clutch.
Awesome instructions. Far better than Rekluse.
Awe man! Thank You. That definitely means a lot 🤟🏽
Great tutorial thanks buddy
Absolutely! Thank You.
On the list now!
Hell yeah! I love this addition. Hardest part is getting the exhaust out of the way lol
@@RAIDERWORLD yeah that’s the only reason I’m not doing it right away.
@@RealRonTV for sure, no need to rush it

Good stuff!! Always nice to have that easy pull.
Absolutely! Easy fix to that heavy clutch pull.
@@RAIDERWORLD I’ll need that soon…
Great video, I used to bleed my brakes this way until I saw the reverse bleed method that works better for me.
Thank You! Absolutely, another good method. Haven’t done that in a while, but that works too.

Awe man! Yeah, they changed it back to cable clutch. They do have the Rekluse Auto clutch
Wauu very amazing, this is very extraordinary
It’s definitely an amazing product 👍🏽
My 2023 HD went back to a cable clutch.

Hello, I'd like to get the video of the actuator rebuild Kerry Owen. Thanks
Maybe one of these days 👍🏽
Great Video!! One of my riding buddies put that in his bike and the Clutch is so easy to pull👍 So when do you want to do mine? Lol!!😂😂😂 Semper Fi🇺🇸

That's a sweet replacement for that stock cast garbage.
Absolutely! Makes a huge difference
Do I have to take out the exhaust for the 2007 cvo ultra classic Electra glide to flush out the clutch fluids?
If you can work around the headers, you should be fine, but you have a cable clutch, so this would not be compatible. I’m pretty sure the 07 is a cable clutch, unless you converted it to a hydraulic
Put one on my street glide it’s awesome
Absolutely a game changer!
Anything for the twin cams?
Not that I am aware of unfortunately

Great video! Question... is the slave cylinder okay for BOTH the CABLE and HYDRAULIC clutch? Thank you!

Great video, random question.. what grips do you have on your bike? Just picked up the factory 47 bars.
Thank You! These are the Biltwell Alumicore grips
@@RAIDERWORLD awesome! Will they fit a 19 road glide special? Do you have a link?
Hello is the rekluse autoclutch also working for an softail 1992 with ultima 120ci engine?
I believe this one is just for 14 and up Harley touring. You can check with Rekluse and see if they have one available for your model
yesterday on my 160 hp m8 with hyd clutch i notice the lever pulsating
and the clutch was engaging a 1/4'' from the bar I have the Barnett scorpion
clutch and basket do you think it might be the slave cylinder ?
it a 2020 bagger flhtp.
Might have some air in the lines, but I would double check the adjustment
@@RAIDERWORLD it was the actuator rubber boot was torn.
How much for this?
Prices vary, some companies even offer Military or First Responders discounts
What I need to know is how to make a hydraulic clutch easythanks
No problem!
