Nothing is Free, everything he gets from those companies is considered his income and he has to pay taxes from it - that can get expensive fast. Thats why he and other reviewers generally send back most of the stuff they get.
The Collector edition is supposed to come with an art book, the DLC and a hand made figure. if your wondering why it doesn’t come with the base game it is probably because it is a collector’s edition, assuming you already have the base game

People that say this collectors is too expensive dont know shit about collectors figures...in the last 5 years the price of collector figures like this one has going up by 30 to 50% in prodution costs....theres too many requests for PVC,resin figures and not that many foundrys that make this kind of figures.This are made of Pvc,Abs and hand painted and not just 3D print.The size of the figure along with how detail it is gets the price even higher.

I have the base game collectors edition and it is INCREDIBLE. A huge malenia statue, rare steelbook, a second Best Buy exclusive steelbook, a PHYSICAL copy of the game, a hardback Artbook and more. And I only paid $200.
I wonder if they'll do a reprint of the Shadow of the Erdtree Collector's Edition with the artbook now included. Wish it had a copy of the game with the DLC on the disc already as well.
Thats honestly a really low quality paintjob on that statue for 250$ They didnt even replicate the eye glow he had in the trailer fir this. The red is also way too bright and glossy compared to the actual model.

It not including the base game AND the dlc makes it not worth it. But $100 for the base game and DLC is 1000% worth it. I knew the DLC was going to be good but just after 10 hours of playing the DLC, and 300 hours of Elden Ring, it’s now my favorite game of all time. Surpassing Skyrim, and RDR2.
The Shadow of the Erdtree Collectors Edition is way too expensive. The details on Messmer statue is poor, no paint on the face, almost no face at all. The paintjob is not good either. A better price would have been around €150 (~$160 US). And yes, todays collectors editions are just plain overpriced and what do you get? Almost nothing, and almost everytime you don't even get a physical copy of the damn game (but you get a ugly steelbook case for some reason).
Not worth the price, base game collector had steelbook plus another for free as preorder and cost 120 dollars less, 50 bucks just for shipping is evil I still want it and knowing bandai they will have one of those editions on sale soon, like they did with tekkens editions

$250 not including the base game is insane. Otherwise I'd consider it a bit expensive but still a cool product. That said, I doubt anyone buying an expensive ultra collector's edition of a DLC doesn't already own the base game. Still though... This seems $100 too high. At $250 it should include a disk of v1.00 (Well, maybe v1.02, since that was the first patch, and kind of essential) of the base game, along with a code to download the digital PS5 (AND PS4!) versions of both the base game and the DLC, as well as the digital premium stuff like the artbook and soundtrack. If those were included, the price would make more sense. I get that Bandai probably wouldn't want valid unused keys out in the wild being sold second hand, so maybe tie them all together with the already included DLC code? Activating it gives you the premium digital DLC bundle, along with the base game for both generations, and the disk is just the physical version of the v1.02 game that you can either use, sell, or keep in pristine condition as a collector. I cannot possibly fathom why the included code doesn't grant both the base game and the DLC, at the very least.

got the physical artbook now, its shit. i was so excited for it too, but its just 39 pages some of them doublesided prints, the pictures are too dark, its tiny, looks just like a flyer with a hardcover. disappointed. statue is cool tho
Im one of the "smart" ones that bought the new collectors edition. The statue is okay but not 250 worth. You can easily see the plastic mold lines on the legs and its not very detailed compared to their other stuff. Oh well. Maybe the artbook will be nice.

this is not a 90 dollar statue. It is made by Pure arts and it is pretty high quality in my opinion. I don’t have all the knowledge on statues but I am very happy with this one

This edition is made for DLC only and you need at least 50-60 hours to even go and play the DLC.
