Glad to see there’s still Americans that aren’t scared to stand behind the word militia and be so well organized at that. Who woulda thought they’d be in California of all places lol.
Edit: I should clarify that I’m not surprised that there’s patriots in Cali. I’m more surprised they were able to be as well organized and armed, since California has so many restrictions on the 2nd amendment. It makes me optimistic for the future, hopefully this movement spreads throughout the country. Lord knows it’s needed.
There is way more free Americans here in CA than is represented in the media or polling results. Things are getting worse in this state and more are waking up every day
@@NicSmacked that’s like the majority of the nation imo, they make it as tho over crowded cities represent the entire country. If you look at most of these states majority of states (and country for that matter) are freedom loving Americans.
Most people and the media report about Democratic cities which only represent 20 percent of the state. Sac, Oak, San Fran, LA, San Diego... There's more to the state than those places

i'm really impressed! no "chest thumping", no wild rhetoric... in fact, you all come across as very wholesome, honorable civic mind folks.
There are lots of people and organizations like this. The media simply refuses to cover them. I'm a member of one in Virginia. The city news paper did an article about our militia helping the counties large food bank relocate and organize. We heard later the woman who wrote the story was reprimanded for putting "right wing extremists" in a positive light.

Militias are necessary weather you think it is or not the power should be in the peoples hands as seen throughout history.

If a foreign country makes it across the ocean and brings war to the United States 🇺🇸 we're probably already fucked, overpowering our armed forces doesn't even sound like it would be possible but who knows what could/ would happen if China and Russia teamed up, but we also have plenty of allies

They exist because the State of California allows it. Malitias in California have to obide by California laws, it's highly regulated and restricted and must obide all the laws and rules. No one outside of a registered approved malitia is free to gather like this or the wrath of government will fall appon them.
You shouldn’t be surprised. There are more right wing people in CA than any other state.

What I'm saying is a state militia in the state of California given that it is a communist stronghold in the United States is surprising to me.

I was on the oak fire in mariposa county. They ( a local militia, I believe) were helping people evacuate. The sheriffs department basically said something along: we did not request their help, but it's appreciated
The California fire resources and first responders to the Oak Fire in Mariposa are world class and experts in the business. We were glad to help in any small way we could.

I’ve done my effort intellectually, at least, trying to tell people in general that this is the literal example of what militia SHOULD be functioning like, and it DOES exist.
This is great to see. One Shepherd is a leadership school that teaches leadership through application of light infantry tactics. I highly recommend 1S for additional training. 1S has joint FTX's with MO Militia and other Civilian groups. Keep up the good work!

We do ! And alot of us are humble good hearted people like these men and women you see here. Just gotta look and you'll find them. Often times they find you when you most need it lol. Happened to me. It was like opening the Bible and finding a scripture that you felt was meant for you in that time of need. We just love our country and our neighbors
I didn’t think these people existed, especially California. The more common terms that people prefer to hear, are terms already taken: volunteer search and rescue, community emergency response team, neighborhood watch. These people remind me of volunteer Fire departments volunteer (reserve) police officers, diligently keeping themselves to safe standards and best practices.
The biggest difference is they’re armed humanitarians.
California is in fact a part of the United States and there are plenty of patriots here.
This is pretty cool to see a bunch of guys and gals out there training together!
The TCCC (tactical Combat Casualty care) or medical side is a good thing for most people to learn. If people can train more people in this way and or in a way to help people in life threating situations (I.E. gun shot wound, head trauma, fracturs, and much more), then i say keep helping people learn.
Yes, we train in MARCH medical. We have a fully staffed/equipped medical.
This is what our founders meant when they said a well regulated. This militia is a model for how others should conduct and organize themselves.

@@josephmedina6403around the 11:20 mark they talked about how they were able to respond within an hour to flooding that the Nation Guard took days. To bring in an active duty unit will take even longer. So having an entity like this is beneficial on many factors.

The government thinks a well regulated militia is a government regulated National Guard as that the national guard is a direct evolution from the the state militia’s of old. But when the founding fathers said well regulated militia they were talking about the people. Well regulated means train often.
This training should be part of owning a firearm, that is part of the responsibility.

Glad I found you. Citizens should be willing to maintain militant training for occasions that may be deemed necessary. If that is not an option then medical, logistic or other skills are also useful. We have too many citizens who choose to do and learn NOTHING…which to me is anathema to being a US Citizen. Thanks for sharing this

I dig it. More than a documentary though, this took a more PR feel to it (understandable for a good reason as well) to combat the negative stereotypes around the word militia. It’s be AWESOME to see a documentary or even a several part series that focuses on on community good will, logistics (food ammo) unit structure, tactics, mission statement, training, exercises, supplies, medical, individual/team comms, kit expected/required for an individual, etc etc etc. I’m in Sacramento and it’s be awesome to be a part of something like this. This if the first video I’ve watched so now going to check out more. I’m sure many of my questions will be answered

I'm in north carolina. I found it to be barbaric that in north carolina, state law not only doesn't support any militias, but actually criminalizes militias......but deep blue California has a large, well regulated, and professional militia. So very sad! That's why my family is looking to move out of the state.
California is a beautiful state with many wonderful people and patriots. We are "The Man in the Arena" who can and will handle our own problems, with or without the judgement or assistance of other states. Unfortunately we have large clots of pliable citizens in our state who have become our poster-child because they are politically useful to the commies.
File a Law Suit against the state of North Carolina for restricting your Constitutional Rights.
California is mostly Red not blue. Just cities like LA and SF are blue. And militias are what won the 1776 rebellion. Every state needs one, large and well armed.

Do you think you guys could do a video at some point on how you guys structured the organization i see a lot of smaller groups like this come and go and I think it would be helpful to us on the east coast if we had some sort of blue print based on what you guys did!
A lot of your answers are in this documentary when watched closely. In this short response I can say that the militia's singular focus should be serving the interests of the people while preparing for any severe controversy. Honesty, integrity and courage will draw the people towards the cause. If a group focuses on just punching holes in paper, complaining, hiding and carrying the ego of an individual then it is doomed to failure. We keep all of our members busy as we maintain a CoC and S-Shop staff for the regimental TO&E maintenance. We maintain morale with frequent, interesting and appropriate training. Good luck and this is just what we wanted from the documentary, to motivate others to stand for life, liberty and happiness.
The documentation and organization can seem daunting. How do you herd armed cats so to speak. Lol. I am with a similar organization in Campbell County Virginia and helping other communities start their own militia is one of our priorities! Local LE and FEDs typically watch whatever these groups put out good or bad to get a better idea of what they are dealing with. This video alone give them probable cause to launch a weapons investigation especially in a place like Cali. Was just trying to look out for them since it seems like a good group of people 👍
