    Biden said you need nukes and F-15's to take on American government. The video I just watched was full of true Americans that could defeat any army. Each face defined determination and resolve to keep America free! Semper Fi.

    Australia here;
    An armed citizen is well and good, but such folk *should* make the effort to join a local militia and participate, in order to improve on a range of skills; coordination-strategy, fitness, cohesiveness, discipline, gun & weapon safety, signals and intelligence gathering among them.
    Militia will remain operational, when regular armed forces are forced to 'terms of surrender' under a war and enemy occupation of territory scenario. Here, it will pick and choose its battles, procure additional ex forces equipment as needed before an enemy takes its possession. US militia are independent of US Forces, but can take directive from active US military commanders under certain legal parameters and circumstance. Thus, US regular armed forces can only surrender themselves, and *not* the Constitutionally independent militia.
    Militia are capable of functioning together with other militia,- for purpose of interoperability to achieve an outcome, or strategic goal. As I see it, US militia, when working together, really are The Continental Army, or Continental Armed Forces, America's final defensive line, yet capable of force projection.
    And again, only an individual militia can surrender itself, and *not* other militia units, thus further adding great cost - to a potential foe intent on occupation. The enemy, never sure - when its officers will get dropped, or its assets destroyed, or adopted by militia, the enemy, always having to fight and negotiate those damned militia, after militia, after militia.
    Wise, were the founders.
    Militia key job - is to make any occupation of US territory, or otherwise attempt its division, a very costly exersize indeed, be that identified enemy or foe, a foreign force or group, OR domestic traitor.

      I might agree, but a bunch of misfit Afghanistnis beat the Russians and the USA over the last 30 years. Come to think of it about 250 years ago a rag tag bunch of minutemen composed of farm boys and laymen trounced the greatest European army of Europe and King George never recovered.

      Epprey Jeffstein One of my forefathers was a member of parliament and one of 30 regicides of England during the reign of King Charles I when they voted to behead the bastard for doing shit like Joe. His subsequent kin had to hightail it out of England and came to America, Nantucket around 1649/50. They ended up fighting in the Revolutionary War as volunteers. My great...grandfather fought for 30+ days at some battle and the Continental congress paid him a pension, probably a couple of pence for his efforts. We've been fighting wars ever since, I served but never made it a career. I did 4 1/2 active and about 18 reserve, but deferred a retirement because I don't believe in or trust the present government, in fact questioned it back in 74 when I was running intelligence in Europe

      My family has been regulars or militia all the way back to the War of Independence. In the War Between the states some were Union and some were Confederate. When that argument rolls around the camp I remain quiet and don't take sides. My mom's dad served in World War One at Fort Sill. My dad's uncles and his father served in World War Two in Europe and the Pacific. My dad and my late uncle served in the Vietnam Era with my uncle helping Army of the Republic of Vietnam Airborne as an advisor where he was killed by a People's Army Vietnam land mine. Dad went on to serve in the Army Reserve and Army National Guard until 1984. I served twice in the Kansas Army National Guard. First enlistment was from 13 January 1980 to 12 January 1992 and the second ran from 13 July 1998 to 12 January 2002. I was a Field Artillery Cannon Crewman on M-110A1/A2 Gun/ Howitzers and an Armor Vehicle Crewman on M-60 and M-60A3 Main Battle Tanks between 1980 and 1992. I was a Metal Crafter which at the Specialist level and below I was a welder in the Maintenance Platoon of an independent heavy dump truck company. Here's the kicker my mom's grandmother's father served in either the Wurttemberg or the Baden Army during the Franco-Prussian War. He was from Bicklesburg outside Stuttgart. He came to the United States because he didn't want his sons serving in the Prussian dominated German Imperial Army. Currently I am the Commander of an independent militia Engineer Company that is currently rebuilding.

      @Jeremy H. Pritchard when it comes to the troubles in Australia these days be careful and do what you can with what you have. I understand the Australian Feds brow beat you all into disarming decades ago. Still there are ways to resist this growing authoritarian, totalitarian attitude of the major governments around the world. Since 9-11-2001 it seems most of them have grow increasingly tyrannical. The more they do so the more those who suicided themselves into the World Trade Center and other locations win. We the people need to say to those aristocrats who think we're beneath them and don't deserve our freedom go stuff it. The authoritarians can just pound sand!
