    Most noticeable to me was the way her horse responded - she seemed much more comfortable through her back with the squish pad, something every horse deserves!

    Most noticeable thing was how the horse was so much more relaxed through the back making the movements more fluid. I am constantly working towards my horses relaxation through her back so I am seeing the benefits of this amazing pad in achieving that.

    My horse is 19 years old this year and I've been struggling with things to make him more comfortable. You can really tell that the horse in your video was much more comfortable with the squishy pad vs the 'normal' pad. I would love the oppurtunity to win this pad, since I have purchased several girths and girth liners from your company. Thank you for trying to help the horses be happy and comfortable under saddle! Love your products!

    Comfort for my horse is paramount and I could see the horse felt more freedom with the squish pad.

    What I noticed was how the horse seemed more relaxed with the squish pad- her head was lower and her hair slightly more free, and the rider was also noticeably bouncing less in the saddle with the squish pad than without it.
    I believe it would be really nice to have one for my gelding, as he is getting older and developing more of a sway back now, and I think the wither relief features in the pad would be nice for him, as well as the comfort of the pad in general for both him and me as I like trail riding him in his English gear.

    Her sitting trot was so much smoother for her and her horse. Her head, hands and hips stayed steady and level.

  • @jeannebenner

    The movement in the saddle was evident with the squishy pad in that the impact/absorbtion of bounce distributed a correction allowing the rider to have a proper seat to tune into her horses movement without affecting the position of her pelvis allowing in tune movement with her horse. This would definitely make both rider and horse a very happy team.

    I love how comfortable and relaxed both horse and rider look with the squish pad. My mare is rehabbing her back after a year of pain. The squish pad would be an excellent addition to her therapy and in rebuilding her top line!

    WOW I have looked at this and wondered how it would be different to my TSF shim pad and having watched the side by side videos I can now totally understand how this would be such a great saddle pad. There is a clear difference in the dispersion of the rider weight with the squish pad, it is noticeable in slow motion and that is going to translate to so many advantages for a horse and rider, it will definitely help absorb rider weight and shock absorption at a trot and canter which is going to mean that the horse can move more freely because the back muscles will be less tense in terms of anticipating rider weight changes, this should result in less potential damage to the horse's back and mean the rider weight is more evenly distributed which is great for both horse and rider. I love your work, TSF you are the best. Thanks for such fabulous products. I have recently purchased a new treeless dressage saddle for my stunning mare Chics Miss Diva and I would love this pad under my new saddle.

  • @stephaniefloros8101

    I did see a distinct difference! With the Squish, the rider sat more deeply and softly. This would make a huge difference for me, as an amateur rider who is not “physically coordinated”, and therefore for Bleu, an OTTB who deserves the best! I have purchased many TOTAL SADDLE FIT products: as far back as the FIRST iteration of the Unisit rider aid! Most recently, purchases include a Shoulder Relief girth with 2 liners and stability stirrup leathers. Love your products. I will save for the Squish.

    Noticeable difference in stride length, relaxation and rider position. I also loved that the horse's head was in a healthier position - more vertical/slightly in front of the vertical - with the squish pad, while it was behind the vertical without it. I am currently retraining a retired racehorse and think the squish pad would be very beneficial for him. I'd especially love to test the different settings for the withers, that's a cool feature for higher withered horses!

    I think this pad will be perfect for dispersing the small imperfections in my horse's saddle fit as his body changes throughout the season as his fitness changes. Engineer in me loves the concept of dispersion and balance over a focus on just impact!

    Shock absorption is important for both horse and rider comfort and makes performance the best it can be. I like how the squish pad absorbs shock with minimal bulk. would love one for my horse.

    Absolutely could see the effect on rider movement - Ashely looked softer and even more connected, in fact, on her horse when using the squish pad vs. not. I was surprised at how much of a difference it seemed to make, in fact.

    Yes, I think there was a difference....with the Squish pad she seemed to bounce less in the saddle. I know this pad would help my horse too! I am a dressage rider and I do some lower level jumping for fun too. I have a super bouncy OTTB who has a super sensitive back. I have tried many different pads for him and none has quite convinced me that he is very comfortable in them so I would be delighted to try out the squish pad!

    My horse has club foot, so he’s got a bit of a funky gait so I think having something like this to take the edge off for both of us and allow for a more smooth ride would be a life saver! I’ve mentioned this before but I honestly think that total saddle fit is the best company for anyone who has a horse with an unusual or even less common body type!!

  • @LisetteNew-Sippel
    @LisetteNew-Sippel 10 месяцев назад

    The engagement between horse and rider is more fluid, less bounce - the squish pad is absorbing the upwards movement from the horse leading to less displacement of the rider during the floating component of the gait - this leads to better placement and timing of the aids. This pad looks like an excellent training aid to provide an increased level of comfort for both the horse and rider.

  • @reneebirchall
    @reneebirchall 10 месяцев назад

    Amazing! There's a significant increase in shock absorption that seems to reduce movement in Ashley's seat (everything looks smoother and more in sync). While the clip is short, it looks like the horse is much more (longitudinally) supple with the SQUISH pad! 🎉

    I saw the horse using her topline much nicer in the squish pad. She was softly on the vertical and looked more relaxed in her back. It would be amazing to see more movements and compare.
    For my own horse, I would love to see how it helps her connection under her jump saddle. She needs a comfortable fit and is very sensitive to saddle fit. I could see this giving her a nice close contact fit and prevent any discomfort.

    I ride in a dressage barn with other amateur riders and none of us has a "grand prix" seat that follows the horse like we all wish it did, and all of us struggle to sit the trot well. I'm hoping tbe Squish pad will help disipate some of my stiffneeses makining my non- grand prix seat more accommodating for my horse. If he's more comfortable, I don't think he'll be as prone to brace his back against my stiff seat, so it's a win-win!

  • @NorthShoreDressage
    @NorthShoreDressage 10 месяцев назад

    Unfortunately our saddle fitter is only able to come to us twice a year. I think the squish pad will help keep our horses more consistently comfortable between saddle fittings by helping to keep the pressure on the horses backs more evenly distributed. Added bonus is the ability to add shims - if panels start to get uneven between fittings I can work remotely with our saddle fitter to keep saddles balanced between fittings.

It also was clearly easier and more fluid for her to sit. I was so excited when I saw this product announced on the TSF instagram because I know how much it would benefit my horse! He is very sensitive in his back and topline development has been a struggle, even though he gets lots of bodywork. He is also a very VERY expressive mover and is so difficult to sit. I think this squish pad would benefit both of us and make us a better pair!❤

Being older she doesn't have as much topline either and all the pads I've tried offer either wither relief or spine relief but never both. This pad would make a world of difference for her! The horse seemed to move more free and the rider seemed less bouncy. My horse has a huge bouncy trot that kills my back and probably doesn't help his. I'd love to try this pad and see if it'd help us. Love that you guys are coming out with new products!

    I’d love to try it! My horses are quite sensitive and I think I would be able to tell right away if it worked for them.

    I think this product would really help me ride more quietly and help protect my horse's back based on the difference we can see from the shock absorption capabilities of the Squish pad.

    My 18.2 guy has a giant trot that I’m sure would benefit greatly from the open channel and shock absorption!

    My big guy is very oddly built and we have difficulty fitting certain saddles. I think this pad would help to better distribute the pressure spots.

    I would love the opportunity to try the squish pad on my hunter! I’m an adult amateur with not the best sitting terror and my horse it’s so forgiving, but I’d love to make it more comfortable for both of us!

    I have a pretty fussy and sensitive horse. At this time, I cannot afford a custom fitted saddle. I think this pad would help keep him more comfortable and happy.
