There are 2 things that possible taken place, for this accident to happen.
1) The sudden tire burst, which made to lose control of the car (Unexpected, which takes time by driver to react before taking control of car)
2) The car was fast and was close to divider.
Due to sudden burst, driver was unaware of this, before he could react and take control of fast car, it got hit to divider. The way, the car is been damage, shows the speed of the car and force with which it hit the divider!
Good year tyre quality good I am using these tyres for my Volkswagen Polo,the best quality,dont miss lead about tyre manufacturing,what happened during test drive,is person driven properly?
Arun panwar's dad was not satisfied with the tyre brand, doubted the tyre.
Now only after 2 days only we all got to know about the tyre which is used by kia😂😂😂.

A Italian guy I know bought a new kia Sportage (2016) and it burnt (wearout, consomed) a front right tyre in a month (1 month of life outside the dealer) . Kia mechanic noticed a big misalignement of the front wheels e the mate alignement and replace the tyres with some excuses.
Is incredible how these care look good but they are a really dangerous and cheap.
They sales Defective cars and you have to fight with kia with his fake warranty for repairs.
Here we have known issues about broken clutch springs and Bads flywheels that gives 1500rpm vibrations; bad engines that don't last longuer; bad suspensions; broken transmission syncronizers; Brakes bug (maybe air in the pipes or bad sealings and/or bad suspensions related) that lock brake pedal after ABS and the car is like on ice, don't stop! If you've gear the car also accelerate! Very dangerours and Some accidents are reported for that.
Kia do nothig for help and THEY ACTING LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW but the KNOW EVERYTHING.
Same problems reported everywhere in the world.
No RECALLS

This accident is clearly a case of tie rod end snapping or steering knuckle loosing its support arm link.
In the accident pictures you can clearly see the left wheel is straight and the RHS wheel is turned way beyond its turning limit.
Its a service failure or overlooking of certain front suspension components or non tourquing of the suspension components if at all they were worked on.
There is clearly no reason any sane driver would abruptly turn towards the divider without reason.
Legit test drive experience ever ! , The guy also tested airbags as well. (Not to mention, the turning radius).😂😂👀👀😂😂😂😂😝😝😝

It’s orange
Never ever go with Good Year tyres especially for SUV's. I drive a Harrier and upon 10K KM's mark cruising over 70 km/hr, the rear left tyre burst while driving and lost traction on the road. The burst couldn't even be patched! I'm so lucky that it wasn't the front tyre which would've been fatal. However I claimed to have the tyre replaced under warranty but tyres don't come under warranty. I escalated this matter to the Tata customer care and they couldn't do anything about it! And then I reached out to the Good Year tyres and upon their inspection they said it's because of the way I drive, hence they declined my appeal and ended up paying Rs. 10,000 for a new tyre.
BOYCOTT GOODYEAR TYRES!
Goodyear Assurance tyres are of good quality, I had used it for 60k kms on Ecosport and had only 2-3 punctures in it's life span.
Then, my replacement tyres were Continental MC5 which were expensive and soft compound ones, already had 4-5 punctures within a year.
It's like buying a sportbike n saying bhai practical nhi h yaar 🤣

I think its not a case of tyre burst.
It looks more like of a steering related problem as Ankit Tomar pointed out...
By the way good year tyres are not that bad. They come as oe fitment in many if the luxury cars.

Don't blame the tires, it depends on the temperature, the stress on the tires from the speed and the tarmac on the road, and the steering input
Clearly the company is trying to cover up the unreliable build quality. Or else they would have been very transparent with the investigation.
Guys do your country a favor go for the home grown companies. Coz they have a far better track record of building good and reliable stuff.
Bridge stone and ceat are better than rest using these company tyres on my car since 9 year & it gives good performance

1:10 the car started wobbling due to some problem in the tyres before hitting the dividers. So I feel the tyres had burst before the actual accident took place.
The accident happened because he applied break immediately after the tyre burst or arm delinking.

As per the video, this is it due to driver negligence. Clearly something broke in the wheel well like A-link or knuckle. Not a driver issue. Kia do not want this to be highlighted so might be downplaying by saying driver issue
Arun is inclined towards Kia and it's evident from his videos. However, Tata is best in terms of built quality and vice versa in case of Kia.

According to my opinion I guess the driver handle was not build strong..Sometimes it happens that even the car engineers miss up with some screw and tightening before handling to the seller so maybe that's the reason it causes such accident other reason is maybe some steels and iron wasn't moulted nicely while manufacturing for building this car so it may be cause of that reason it causes such issue

Why blaming tyres ? Goodyear is a reputed brand and selling millions of volume worldwide, where exact cause still not known and people start boycotting, where the hell is the brain and logic of these people

There is noway this is due to steering movement( which turns the tyre gradually). You can clearly see the car swirl. Appears as though the tyre suddenly turned right full angle or there was torque cut off to the right front tyre and the back swirled to the left.
This happens bcz of worst steering of Hyundai...this accident would never happens with Tata or ford cars

Good year tyre is no good coz on my innova it's jus 17000 km my four tyre of good year got burst on the same day n I complained about it bt no solution
It's not about tyres... The road seems pretty clear... It has something to do with seltos.... Maybe it has a steering glitch at high speeds... Maybe it's pulling towards right or left at high speeds.!
Goodyear tyres are really good...we have them on our polo for almost 5 years now and no complaints at all..they are really good

Good that both the passengers in that car are safe. As per police it’s correct after tyre burst you don’t loose control completely specially at city speed. MOST IMPORTANT THING IF YOU NOTICE IN THIS VIDEO, I GUESS DRIVER WAS SHOWING THE BODY ROLE TO CUSTOMER, Cox video ke 2:15 mins pe agar Tum centre touch. Screen ko dhyan se dekhoge toh pata chalta hain like driver straight road pe deliberately car Ka steering left and right ghuma raha hain.

This build quality leaves a lot to be desired from KIA, no where near to the Nexon. When are we going to really focus on safe cars. This means KIA is making substandard cars for INDIA.

drive safely......its more important then any features of cars..........just think that before 10 years ago we had not such features but still we were happy to drive that car. More features means more tension.......
Now we have push start button to start engine........ Practially this is not important because it does not save your time........... I think it is good to manually start engine through key so that at least we can get some exercise on our hand. 🙂

With my experience its not the tire burst turned the steerings... Its steering failure this is electronic steering, people will never cm to know this because kia will never expose..

It happened because the right tyre touched the pavement and then the car got pulled towards that side immediately. It wasnt a burst

Bro.. just a small info if front tyre burst while driving definitely the steering will loose control nd as u said the Kia didn't wanna disclose this coz front tyre burst should be the issue nd insurance can't be claimed in tht case in some countries not sure abt INDIA, I'm frm Dubai here in Dubai tyre burst is normal coz of the high temperature in summer nd here in UAE full insurance covers tyre burst as well.. so if I'm not wrong this accident is only coz of the tyre burst nd not driver mistake .. when back tyre burst the vehicle will be in control but front tyre burst is the worst scene ur car can tilt nd become more dangerous so always use good tyres nd always try to change tyres in every 3 yes in UAE it's 2 yrs coz of the heat India I feel 3 yrs we should follow coz road quality is bad nd temperature in India is also rising nowadays in the summer
