The same probelm is their in Thar, XUV 700, Skoda and other vehicles of other companies. This is for BS6 issue in most diesel cars, if we keep driving on high altitudes for considerable amount of time, the soot keeps on getting accumulated in the DPF resulting in clogging / choking of the DPF. The general practice of regenerating/de-clogging the DPF is to drive the car at high rpms, preferably above 2k rpm at a speed of 60 km/h for at least 20-25 minutes as per various owners' manual. But these is next to impossible while driving in narrow and windy roads of Manali-Leh highway, Zanskar or Spiti valley for that matter. So, failure to regen the DPF within the threshold of DPF soot accumulation capacity results in vehicle breaking down in those highways. As per my observation, this DPF clogging issues are happening mostly in Automatic gearbox equipped vehicles where the gearbox tends to keep RPM of the car under 2K RPM for better fuel efficiency resulting in inefficient burning of soot trapped in DPF. Whereas in manual gearbox, we tend to keep the car above 2k rpm while taking a climb

I do understand the pain the owner of the car is going through, but i dont think any car manufacturers would refund money or provide them a new car unless the company has no solution for the issue. Tata's have really improved in their product line, but their after sales is still stuck in the past. TATA must improve their after sales and ensure that the customer do not have to wait this long to get their issue resolved.
Sahab companies should have liability if customer has suffered company should pay a compensation for delay in service after all after sales service is every thing
I agree, even phones have only 10days DOA. I think people should also understand gadgets and mechanics can malfunction even in a car worth crore to a phone of 1000rs. The guy just wanted to show his “Yadav”ness. I think the sales team can hardly do anything apart from reaching out to higher authority. Even in court case, they won’t be liable for anything. It’s a tata car bug, which they’ll say we’ll fix for free.

I faced similar issue with new Royal Enfield classic 350(2022), after just 26 27 days of purchase. They kept the bike in service station and opened up each and every part of engine and said they would replace half of the engine assembly but I’m not really sure if the engine will be as efficient and work as good as the one manufactured in the factory. I talked to them for replacement or refund but they stayed silent on this matter and assured to rectify the problem, finally I sent them a legal notice today. I’m fed up, my bike has been lying in service station for about 3 weeks now. Let’s hope consumer court has a solution! 😓 I don’t know if they would react the same if such fault was found in their bike in USA or UK, or it’s just India.
Justice system is really broken here. Works as it was designed in Britishers time, so that we keep revolving around court. Even Indian penal code is exactly same as it was in Britishers time. It's a sustem of harrasment.

@@bbsingh7554 new update I want to share, I finally got my full engine replaced by sending them legal notice and now the bike is delivered. After 4 days of new engine installation, the bike has stopped again, the Bike would start at neutral and when I try shifting gear it would just stop, their road side assistance is working on towing the bike back to the service station again. But they can’t even arrange towing, how pathetic is the service system of such a pathetic company, I work in hilly region in Himalayas and now this bike is proving to be totally unreliable. All I have learnt from this struggle is that a vehicle should be as reliable as your best friend. Because it may mean life or death in some situations, so choose your vehicle carefully.
I suggest you, never service your vehicle in showroom, mere dost ke sath yahi hua aur uske bike ke 1-2 part badal diye. Enka koi bharosa nahi hai, free service ke chakkar me mat padho

I also suffered an inconvenience from tata motors customer service My car was not starting and it was 1.5 kms away from service centre. I called on tata customer service and there engineer said that the towing van charges are per kilometre. I said him that my car is 1.5 kms away from the service centre but the engineer said that i have to pay the charges for 30 kms as his towing van is 30 kms away. This depicts the how they are ready to grab money from there customer.

Actually I own a Nexon 2022.And my personal experience is that TATA MOTORS employees are not professional. Maximum time misbehave with the customer. My first two service was just car washing nothing else. I strongly believe car is very good but the service is too poor. They behave as they own the company.

When the car is under warranty they will repair it. That is normal procedure according to agreement. U don't get new car untill service team says it's not repairable.
It's in hand of showroom distributor. To give new car. (They bear the loss) & if not able to burrie the matter at showroom level. 😂 My brother told me 1 such incidence at kia showroom. Where customer was of high netwrk,& was not agree below exchange of new car. Showroom owner immediately terminated concerned service heads for not able to conveince the customer & given new car at their loss.

10 hazar mein se kisi ek gadi mein ye issues aate hai. As a customer he is 100% right but as a brand tata should immediately replace the car with the new one.
Similar issue happened with my brother's Tata Punch. Power Window on the driver got stuck as soon as we got delivery. Then again we've to wait for the service person on the check and fix it. then after couple of days AC condenser was worn out. They are not even doing a proper PDI and service is as usual bad.

No one will give a new car once papers are signed unless the company recalls a series- this is a global process. TATA has poor training of their staff and service, they should have arranged for a car immediately until they rectify

Exactly, I have bought Santro 12 years old and didn't face any problem. sold the car & still running fine with the new buyer. Also have dezire vdi purchased in 2011, till today not faced even a single technical glitche. This is called quantity....
I am a TATA car owner. It's just they need to stop thinking customers are fool! Buying will be a smooth process but once you get an issue be ready for lengthy follow-up's for the smallest of issues! I get my things done without any skirmish but have seen everytime someone shouting in the service station! They have improved on few things (sales) but not yet at the level of Toyota or a Hyundai. Want to know more from other brand owners!

But I was always apprehensive with the customer support at tata dealerships and ultimately purchased kia seltos in the beginning of 2020. Now after watching numerous videos of new tata Harrier and new tata safari malfunctioning and tata dealerships dealing with those customer in the worst possible manner; I thank God I didn't buy tata harrier

I visited TATA showroom in my city for Punch enquiry, but sales executives were very effortless and untrained then I visited NEXA for Baleno enquiry, and they treated me very well. Maruti Suzuki is best. I booked Baleno.

The biggest issue of the automobile industry is that it has been functioning in dealership model. Showrooms are owned by Dealers and most of these dealerships are run in LALA ka dukaan mode. If the showrooms were owned by the company itself than service would've been much better. Because most of the employees are on the dealership payroll who work on meagre salary and are mainly dependent on incentive/commission basis which are paid only on target achievements. I assure that none of the employees over here are TATA payroll employees. The dealership has a MD who is the main investor and he employs a CEO, Business Head, Sales Head and that is run according to the MD. The dealership gets huge incentive on tgt achievements which are basically judged on quarterly basis. So quality will always be an issue. Company ke audits hote hai.. jab audit hota hai toh company employees dealers ki band bajaate hai.. kyunki company auditors SOP follow karte hai aur dealership SOP follow nahi kar pata..
Very unprofessional behavior from the customer. Did he follow all the norms suggested for a new car ? That maximum 80 kmph and no hard braking ETC.... There can be problems in the new car and they always assist under warranty. I also faced issues in my car and they fixed it. They appeared with lot of people and camera and started shouting. Patience is required in everything.

The same probelm is their in Thar, XUV 700, Skoda and other vehicles of other companies. This is for BS6 issue in most diesel cars, if we keep driving on high altitudes for considerable amount of time, the soot keeps on getting accumulated in the DPF resulting in clogging / choking of the DPF. The general practice of regenerating/de-clogging the DPF is to drive the car at high rpms, preferably above 2k rpm at a speed of 60 km/h for at least 20-25 minutes as per various owners' manual. But these is next to impossible while driving in narrow and windy roads of Manali-Leh highway, Zanskar or Spiti valley for that matter.
So, failure to regen the DPF within the threshold of DPF soot accumulation capacity results in vehicle breaking down in those highways. As per my observation, this DPF clogging issues are happening mostly in Automatic gearbox equipped vehicles where the gearbox tends to keep RPM of the car under 2K RPM for better fuel efficiency resulting in inefficient burning of soot trapped in DPF. Whereas in manual gearbox, we tend to keep the car above 2k rpm while taking a climb
You can run a Honda engine with almost zero to no oil and the engine will keep on running. It's that reliable.

I do understand the pain the owner of the car is going through, but i dont think any car manufacturers would refund money or provide them a new car unless the company has no solution for the issue. Tata's have really improved in their product line, but their after sales is still stuck in the past. TATA must improve their after sales and ensure that the customer do not have to wait this long to get their issue resolved.

I faced similar issue with new Royal Enfield classic 350(2022), after just 26 27 days of purchase. They kept the bike in service station and opened up each and every part of engine and said they would replace half of the engine assembly but I’m not really sure if the engine will be as efficient and work as good as the one manufactured in the factory. I talked to them for replacement or refund but they stayed silent on this matter and assured to rectify the problem, finally I sent them a legal notice today. I’m fed up, my bike has been lying in service station for about 3 weeks now. Let’s hope consumer court has a solution! 😓
I don’t know if they would react the same if such fault was found in their bike in USA or UK, or it’s just India.

After 4 days of new engine installation, the bike has stopped again, the Bike would start at neutral and when I try shifting gear it would just stop, their road side assistance is working on towing the bike back to the service station again. But they can’t even arrange towing, how pathetic is the service system of such a pathetic company, I work in hilly region in Himalayas and now this bike is proving to be totally unreliable. All I have learnt from this struggle is that a vehicle should be as reliable as your best friend. Because it may mean life or death in some situations, so choose your vehicle carefully.

My car was not starting and it was 1.5 kms away from service centre. I called on tata customer service and there engineer said that the towing van charges are per kilometre. I said him that my car is 1.5 kms away from the service centre but the engineer said that i have to pay the charges for 30 kms as his towing van is 30 kms away.
This depicts the how they are ready to grab money from there customer.

Actually I own a Nexon 2022.And my personal experience is that TATA MOTORS employees are not professional. Maximum time misbehave with the customer. My first two service was just car washing nothing else. I strongly believe car is very good but the service is too poor. They behave as they own the company.

When the car is under warranty they will repair it. That is normal procedure according to agreement. U don't get new car untill service team says it's not repairable.

Similar issue happened with my brother's Tata Punch. Power Window on the driver got stuck as soon as we got delivery. Then again we've to wait for the service person on the check and fix it. then after couple of days AC condenser was worn out. They are not even doing a proper PDI and service is as usual bad.

It's not that easy for company to refund money or replace car. But it is dealer's and company responsibility to find the problem and solve it.
REMEMBER TO BUY ONLY NORMAL BASE VARIANT CARS FROM TATA AND MAHINDRA. Gaadi me jitna features kam ho utna acha hai like Tata Indigo Tiago or Mahindra Bolero. Unka bas utna Tak hi thik hai. Baaki don't take risk and don't go after looks.

Exactly, I have bought Santro 12 years old and didn't face any problem. sold the car & still running fine with the new buyer. Also have dezire vdi purchased in 2011, till today not faced even a single technical glitche. This is called quantity....

I am a TATA car owner. It's just they need to stop thinking customers are fool! Buying will be a smooth process but once you get an issue be ready for lengthy follow-up's for the smallest of issues! I get my things done without any skirmish but have seen everytime someone shouting in the service station! They have improved on few things (sales) but not yet at the level of Toyota or a Hyundai. Want to know more from other brand owners!

In 2019 I was highly attracted to tata harrier and wanted to buy it. But I was always apprehensive with the customer support at tata dealerships and ultimately purchased kia seltos in the beginning of 2020. Now after watching numerous videos of new tata Harrier and new tata safari malfunctioning and tata dealerships dealing with those customer in the worst possible manner; I thank God I didn't buy tata harrier

i feel the customer... launching good vehicles does not mean everything is good...the ground level staff should be trained adequately to handle these kind of situation..
I have faced this with TATA Motors when i booked my vehicle.. thankfully i cancelled it and bought Mahindra
Mahindra is also same with their electronic glitches and some quality issues. If u ever face these then technician will solve problems like sticking band-aid to injury later left the scar not fully resolved/replace to satisfaction as they're not trained to fix new gen Mahindra problems

I visited TATA showroom in my city for Punch enquiry, but sales executives were very effortless and untrained then I visited NEXA for Baleno enquiry, and they treated me very well. Maruti Suzuki is best.

The biggest issue of the automobile industry is that it has been functioning in dealership model. Showrooms are owned by Dealers and most of these dealerships are run in LALA ka dukaan mode.
If the showrooms were owned by the company itself than service would've been much better.
Because most of the employees are on the dealership payroll who work on meagre salary and are mainly dependent on incentive/commission basis which are paid only on target achievements.
I assure that none of the employees over here are TATA payroll employees.
The dealership has a MD who is the main investor and he employs a CEO, Business Head, Sales Head and that is run according to the MD.
The dealership gets huge incentive on tgt achievements which are basically judged on quarterly basis.
So quality will always be an issue.
Company ke audits hote hai.. jab audit hota hai toh company employees dealers ki band bajaate hai.. kyunki company auditors SOP follow karte hai aur dealership SOP follow nahi kar pata..
Very unprofessional behavior from the customer. Did he follow all the norms suggested for a new car ? That maximum 80 kmph and no hard braking ETC.... There can be problems in the new car and they always assist under warranty. I also faced issues in my car and they fixed it.
They appeared with lot of people and camera and started shouting. Patience is required in everything.

Professionally nobody come and give complain and it doesn't get repaired at given time we need to be unprofessional sometimes 😂As i know there is no speed limit of 80kmph in this segment car bcz it's already certified ,after that running of engine only fix it to car ,no need of any speed limit but u need to make timely free service as company norms...

Mera personal experience hai ki maine gadi book Ki 21 April 2022aur use time Jo Mujhe Maloom Hai gadi ka jo price Hota Hai Vahi lagta hai lekin inhone Mujhse bad Mein bola ki main jo gadi Ke Bade Hue price hai usse payment karo 3 month baad ..Ham Tata Motor ko promote to karna chahti hai lekin yah agency Wale lootate Hain aur mis guide Karte Hain Mera yah experience Hai..
