I've always had trouble with how much to torque the driven pully down to, I've just absolutely cranked it down and ran it and that made the bearings explode, also if I torque it down too much the whole pully doesn't want to spin, I found about 7ish foot-pounds seems to be ok but I'm worried its going to come loose.
Go to one of our videos in click on the link in the description and find us on Facebook share some pictures and information on what's going on we might be able to help you
If it's stuck on to the engine shaft they are usually two to three things you can try you can try getting a screwdriver behind it and give a little tug and sometimes it pops loose The other thing is put the screwdriver behind it give a little tug and tap it with a rubber mallet in if that doesn't work you may have to use a pulley puller if you don't own one and you don't want to buy one I'm pretty sure O'Reilly's has a loaner tool for that hopefully this helps you Good luck
use an impact gun an give it an ugga and a dugga and you should be good. just two short ugga and dugga right after. light ones too, not full forcing. that or literally look up the torque spec and use a torque wrench. im guessing its like 60-80 ft lbs? not 100% sure so look it up
When I installed this and put the chain and stuff on. I had a problem where it didn’t wanna spin. Like I would try dragging the go kart and it was all a tight then the back wheels wouldn’t spin. What could be the reason for that
The chain may be too tight or you have two small of a belt for it I did a part two of this video I'll send you the link it kind of shows you how tight and loose the chain and built should be
That could be a few different things it could be the engines Cox sideways a little bit you might have to readjust it if it's not that the master link might be installed incorrectly it's hard to explain it I can show you how we did ours and we seem to have no issues I will show you in a future video keep watching our short clips thanks for the comment and don't forget to subscribe for more videos

The 7 foot pounds of torque should be fine as long as you're using a lock nut the likeliness of it back in office very low

Is that a 30 series, is the shaft on the engine long enough to fit the pulley to completely tighten down?
Yes it's a 30 series torque converter most of the kits come with the bolt that bolts into the shaft of the engine in a spacer

How long are your belts lasting?

Yes

Yeah the predator 212 have the standard engine and you can get the hemi which has a low end torque the hemi has the aluminum valve cover
You get 2-3% more output, but a smaller selection of aftermarket parts available.
