As a fellow Florida man I know what you're going through. I wish y'all the best of luck and hope your stuff stays where it is. Most of all I hope you're safe.
Hey 59 year old from Myrtle Beach SC.... Been through many hurricanes and yes the Media does blow it WAY out of proportion... Wishing y'all the Best !!! P.S. I just ordered a. Hoodie and Banana Gun SOOOOOOO Excited !!!!
Thanks for taking the time to update your viewers Also still loving your format. No over editing, no dramatic music. Just you, just real. Absolutely the best. Love the calm and chill element you provide. Your videos are a family favorite, we watch them all. Thanks so much for you hard work.
Hey man just be careful you guys ok. I know your fixing to get hit brother. You guys are in our prayers and we are in central FL just north of Tampa. Bro we are as ready as we can be I think. Just please be careful and watch the tides ok man. Going to get way high and even higher after that!! Bro if you guys need anything please elect me know if we can help ok. I really liked that you showed all of this man and it’s going to help a lot of people I think. No one thinks about all of this stuff that we have to do and boy you hit it right on the head with those bilge pump switches. They will get stuck up and run the batteries dead then the boat fills with water and sinks. That’s why you always have to have an eye on the boat and one eye trying to sleep. You won’t get much of that that’s for sure. People think the smaller the boat the smaller the bilge pump but it’s actually opposite. The smaller the boat the quicker it’s going to fill up so you need a much bigger bilge pump for a smaller boat. That’s something I think people don’t know so maybe mention that. I may see you on the Q& A. My brother Henry says hello man and can’t wait to meet you guys one day. I’m seriously going to be looking for a piece of property down there. Hopefully we can find something. I didn’t know your boat was in the same marina as the Yankee. That’s a bad ass deep fishing boat man. Should go out with them one day and film it. R safe bro and our prayers are with you guys.
I thanks for the run down hopefully it stays mild for you there and you don't have any damage . I'll keep you both in my thoughts Stay safe and be well !
Glad the keys got spared from the storm. Got pics from a friend on MM 70 they were getting wind and flooding. This storm is powerful. Glad it missed you guys..
Keeping you guys in my Prayers Aaron, may God guide you all through this one. Us here in the Abacos never stressed over hurricanes, it was always just abit of prep and afew days off of school/work. But when Dorian hit us 3 years ago, it all changed Brother.
Most of my Peeps went through Andrew and were hit hard. My folks were out of their house for 9 months after Andrew hit. I was working in Gville and driving down every weekend with any supplies I could get. My kid brother helped operate a very very large landscaping company and most of their workers in homestead and the Redlands lost everything. UF Registration and Admission's department did collection's of toiletries and clothes and any household items, and they gave well 👍 We were able to help cloth over 100 families thanks to the kind folks I was working with. Sunniland Park playing baseball all my life couldn't be recognized, huge monster Bannon trees disappear 😳, and the root system alone would freak you out 🥺 Back then I didn't think Miami would ever come back, but just look at her, all shiny and 🤔 shiny and that's all I can say about Miami anymore. 😐 Miami Palmetto 78 ✌️ There was no other place like that old Miami. Riding my bike to The Grove and hanging out in Kennedy Park with all the hippies camping out. Boat show at Dinner Key in the Grove. Jimmy playing for beer at Montey's , then it went black leather and very tight skin pants on lots of guys, and we'd drive around the Grove, just too weird at the time, and they'd be really nasty with a car of kids. The first Miami riots started in, or right outside of the Grove. I was on Key Biscayne at the Siesta Beach Hotel for a friend's High School prom I took her to, and half way through they stopped and said what was happening with the starting riot's and try to get home. Projectiles coming from every direction and I had a few good friends in the car, and I just floored it and everyone was safely delivered back home. I was working on Miami Beach on the Winston Towers water damage carpet's and driving through Liberty City every day and I can tell you that no working person liked it one bit. Punks will be punk's no matter what color they are. Second time wasn't fun either, so when Juicy tried to Go Hate Crime Crazy in below zero in Chicago 🤨 that punk should be locked up right now for trying to start a riot. 😤😤
Stay safe. Thanks for all the great content. Thanks to your videos, I believe I have my better half on board to vacation on our boat in the near future. Keep up the great work and thank you.
Nothing wrong with being prepared! Well done, loved the boat prep, always good to hear what others do, helps with forward thinking! Fingers crossed you are bypassed! Stay safe, Eat well! 👍🤠🦘🤙🌀
Thanks Aaron! Good advice and smart to be prepared. We have lots of new residents here in Florida that may not have experienced a strong storm. Glad it’s staying away from you guys. Looks like we are going to take a direct hit here in Cape Coral. Stay safe everyone.
You know even with the hurricanes I'd still love to live in Key West.. Thanks for the prep information. Good job explaining. I'll watch on IG too. Stay safe. 🌊🙏
Loved the video. I was just thinking about you all this morning. Prayers for no damage and more importantly no loss of life for anyone in the path. God bless.
Never had to do it from shore , that's all you can do . I always went to a hurricane hole with plenty of mangroves for cover . Then just spider my ropes in and with plenty of junk food and soda pop sit it out . Just another little adventure to me . Hey brother , thats a very colorful fuel filter ya got there . You and Madeline stay safe down there my prayers and thoughts are with you two 🙏👍👍🇺🇸
Thanks for sharing Aaron 👍. Hope you and Madeline stay safe and well. Cheri and I where at the wooden spoon in marathon this morning and ran across lobster 🦞 boat captain who has 1600 traps out. He told me how the deal goes with a storm. What I didn't realize is the people in your area that will loose a tremendous amount of traps. It gave me a heart dropping feeling for those fishermen and what yall go through. Thanks for what you do. Your efforts are to make a living. Mine are just playing around. 😆
yea it really is a bummer for those lobster fisherman especially the when the storm predictions are wrong like this one was, lots of traps gonna be lost.
thank you for sharing. Looks like you all have prepared well. Sending positive thoughts for y'all. And you are right media blows stuff up. much respect for your self reliance and prep work.
