    No one talks about cables, my Rode II never worked with my phone and now I can use it. Thanks Ashley. Bring a RUclipsr a bit surprised to see such a low number of subs compared to the great content and quality you are producing. All the best for your fantastic work, you are doing a great job.

      It's because I'm not super consistent, that's all. I posted regularly for a while, but after having my 2nd baby, my focus went more towards my membership and course students. With school/daycare starting, I'm hoping to get back into RUclips and creating more videos.

    Great video Ashley! Very helpful! I’ve used the Rode Wireless ME for about a year now and it’s been perfect for what I use it for. 😊 Thanks for the advice!

    Hello! I wanted to show my appreciation for all of the valuable information that you put out there for us yoga entrepreneurs! I think I subscribed to your channel more than two years ago. Back then, I didn't think of myself as an entrepreneur and I hadn't made peace with my desire to become a full-time yoga teacher or to run an online business. I wasn't even interested in your content on online yoga businesses, as I was more into learning about yoga sequencing at that point in my teaching journey. Anyway, long-story short, I'm starting a YT channel with accessible yoga content in Spanish soon, and your videos have definitely helped me gain the confidence and tools needed to jump right in! It's great seeing someone doing it and succeeding at it despite the challenges. I also value your honesty and authenticity! Have a blessed day or night, whenever you're seeing this. 🙏🏽✨️

      Amazing! Thanks for sharing this comment. I so appreciate it. Sequencing was my way to get started and where I initially found an interested audience, but I knew even back then that I wanted to be talking about technology and online teaching. We all makes shifts and pivots many times in our lives.

    I'm interested in simplifying from my Sure wireless mic to the Rode II, BUT I play recorded music in my classes. Which setup would you recommend? Should the receiver connect to a mixer? Or would I put the 2nd mic near a speaker that's playing the music? Can the 2nd mic be used for a live instrument, say chimes? Also, can you change the levels of the two mics to balance the sound? Can the Rode II be used for both the iPhone and the laptop, interchangeably? Thanks for your input! (sorry, those are a lot of questions)

    This is a great video, thank you so much!! Have you experienced hissing sound in your audio with Rode Wireless Go? I've been struggling with this recently, while recording through Camera and Online Streaming. I've adjusted the sound bar button (on the left) and can't seem to get rid of the hissing sound. Any tips or feedback would be amazing, thank you! ❤️

    • @AshleyHagen
      @AshleyHagen  4 месяца назад

      Nope. But I have dealt with crackling. It was fixed by swapping out the cables. The only time I've experienced hissing is when I plugged in the receiver to charge at the same time I was using it. Don't charge it at the same time that you're using it.

    hi thanks for the breakdown. question: have you ever thought the lavalier was preferred ease of use or better audio quality vs. clipping the go 2 transmitter on your collar? maybe the transmitter is better than a separate lavalier, but i saw in another video you did upgrade your lav. im leaning go2 but if i need to buy a separate lav as well, then that puts the price close to the pro which comes with the lav 2! thanks ahead of time

    • @AshleyHagen
      @AshleyHagen  3 месяца назад

      That's true. I don't use the lav2 at all actually. It's nice as an option, but I just don't use it since I want to keep things as simple as possible. The pro also comes with 2 magclips so you can use the magnet to attach to you as well. The pro is a great purchase if you want all that stuff. I also love the charging case it comes with. Definitely worth it if you can swing the extra dollars for it.

    Thanks for the video, @AshleyHagen, very helpful! One question: I just bought a second hand Go i. What do you think about it?

    • @AshleyHagen
      @AshleyHagen  4 месяца назад +1

      Still works great for me and I use it as a back up frequently. The power button is a little finicky and takes a little bit to power on or off, but I have no other issues with it.

    Thanks, Ashley! I am purchasing tomorrow, and am wondering if I should get the Pro, since I am doing Crystal Sound bowls with my yoga classes. What are your thoughts?

    • @AshleyHagen
      @AshleyHagen  4 месяца назад +1

      If you are live streaming, it won't make a difference in quality. The Pro is going to be the best of the best, but the 32 bit float option might not be necessary even for crystal bowls. But hey, if I were doing anything with sound, I probably would get the Pro to be safe. It's $400 and comes with a receiver and 2 microphones and a neat charging case. Oh, and I just opened the box... It also comes with 2 lavaliers and 2 magnet clips as well as a few needed cables. No SC7 cable, though.

    Hi Ashley,
    Can this work in studio if you’re demo- ing the poses. Can you use Bluetooth on your phone for music while it’s plugged in 🙏

    • @AshleyHagen
      @AshleyHagen  22 дня назад +1

      You might still use bluetooth while this is plugged in, since the Rode microphone is not bluetooth at all. However, having everything going through one device for all you're doing can get really confusing. If you are going to be streaming or recording while also teaching live, I would use a separate device for music. Phone for music and a computer for Zoom or camera recording. Just for the ease of it. If you had to change or adjust the music, you'd have to hop on your phone and that disrupts the live stream.

    Hello from India!, I've been trying to setup a microphone and speaker system for my mom's yoga studio, and your video on the RODE GO microphone has been very helpful in narrowing down the search. I have a question though, she currently teaches a hybrid class, with airpods connected to zoom (has been for a while), and I've suggested wearing the rode microphone connected to a speaker for the in-person students in addition to her airpods. Do you have a better suggestion for the same ? Thanks again :)

    • @AshleyHagen
      @AshleyHagen  4 месяца назад +1

      If her in-person students struggle to hear her, then yes this could be a good option. Any kind of microphone to a speaker or stereo for in person students can work if it's a large space.
