This model sold out so fast at Luna Cycle. What a fantastic deal. All the people that held off on the Sur Ron for years, because of the price, have no excuse anymore to buy this. I think I might get one too. Excellent detailed review. Cheers.
This bike is a game changer. Although it will probably bring down the value of my surron, I'm okay with that as long as more people can afford these bikes.
@@angel_60v yea, we cant have the poor plebs getting these things, only thr rich can have fun things..plebs always ruining the fun of the rich. Got one ordered this past weekend - can’t wait to get it on the road, it’s just such a great deal. And glad to see you guys on the bike - I’m a little over 6’ tall (but under 220 lbs) so I was hoping it would be OK. Looks like it will be fine.
I was skeptical when Talaria uk unveiled the xxx awhile back. But man, Talaria is killing the game rn. My poor first gen Talaria(mx3) will be obsolete soon lol.
I was about to sell my YZ250 to cover a Talaria Sting R. Then I saw this pop up. Outta nowhere. I’ll chime in on supermotos. They tend to feel faster than dirt setups. However, dirts wheelie and come up quicker. Feels like more torque. But sumos feel faster and turn better. Last longer on the streets. The only downside I can see is these bikes have fairly weak suspension. But that’s just me comparing these to the tried and try YZ suspension Yamahas come with.
Do I predict a talaria R giveaway comming up? I saw at least maybe 3 brand new ones in boxes in the garage! Dang your fleet, is getting big. Hope you are making some $$ from videos. You definitely release a lot of content!
Keep in mind that you can't upgrade to a bigger battery in the future and you do lose some suspension travel for XXX compare to MX4 or Sur ron. Great move from Talaria, now whoever releases 72v with the same form factor would delivered a checkmate. It have to be below 5 grand.
@@drekenfpsyou can fit lithium into basically any structure or shape and there's going to be.demand for a battery with specifications that fit this bike so idk what hee saying
@@drekenfps You guys are so dubious but lack detail observation. A Sur ron or MX4, you can build a battery that extended over the top since its vertically mounted. XXX has a horizontally mount battery with their last 2" being use by suspension/retraction of the rear tire upward momentum, therefore there is not possible to have a bigger battery intruding outward.
Great video, I have two questions. 1. Do you guys disable the speed limiter for your videos? 2. With the way that battery is designed, would it be possible to upgrade to a bigger aftermarket battery, like a 72v, or will this bike just have less upgrade potential than a sting r or surron?
@@aquasmoke8539 open the side panel and look for a small brown looped wire and cut it, that’s how most of their bikes wire the speed limiter, the only other way to disable it to my knowledge is to every time you start the bike do a long input sequence.
I’m so mad at myself right now for not being able to afford this, I’ve literally been staying out of the “ebike” world because I couldn’t afford a talaria or Sur Ron which was the perfect bike for what I wanted and now talaria comes out with a bike even more perfect than what I could’ve wanted and in the basic bottom price you could ever ask for and I’m flat broke😅
another question that hasn’t been asked: if you lose your nfc card key, can you use an nfc card reader app for iPhone or android to unlock your bike? That’d be another useful video to make
We don’t pressure wash our bikes, we just hose them off with soap and scrub them. We leave the battery in most the time on our sting models so I’m sure this one would be fine to.
