Sooooo he rides his rattata then flew up to the space at the speed of light headbutting an asteroid and battling deoxys
This challenge is legitimately one of the most creative Pokemon challenges I've seen, you really can't rely on one Pokemon to sweep, like most of us do when playing Pokemon.
Which is never how Pokemon was intended to be played to begin with.
Every single game has an NPC somewhere who talks about how you're supposed to raise your team evenly :p

2:20 On my first playthrough I realized how OP double-kick is, you hit 2 times, can crit 2 times.......and most of the time KO with the first hit

Gen 7 and down I think is where you don't gain any
The level 100 Poochyeena was due to an integer underflow in the XP, its the same way you get a glitched level 100 from a level 1 pokemon in gen 1.

Honestly, I think that the hardest part about this challenge isn’t the fact that your Pokémon don’t evolve. The hardest part is the fact that your Pokémon can’t learn any new moves. Your Pokémon will always level down and never reach the levels they need to learn better moves naturally. You COULD use TMs, but they are a one time use and the Pokémon you use them on will only get worse the more you use them in battle. This challenge is absolutely insane!

You should react to the various Pokemon challenge videos that Mah-Dry-Bread has done. He's done some easy ones like Gastly in Pokemon Red and Castform in Emerald and some brutal ones like Pokemon Black with only First Form Bugs, Gible in Platinum and Gold with only an entire team of Unown.
Everyone remembers the Battle Frontier but nobody remembers Scott who created it😂😂

Just to put things into perspective, the battle with Watson started at 4:35 and ended at 5:07. It took almost 45 minutes to beat one (1) gym leader.
If theres a challenge u should try and also react to is when SmallAnt1 play emerald but every team is randomized after each battle

If this happened in red and blue, the game would die when your pokemon get to level 1, and give your pokemon enough experience to get to level 100 because the game wasnt designed to handle pokemon at level 1

I guess a viable strat near the end would be EV training against super weak pokemons, so at lvl40 you may lose a couple of levels but gain full EV points. but the begenning is just...brutal

It would be cool if your pokemon started off at the level they would usually end the game at, say 60 or whatever and then lose exp from the start.

Can i get someone's opinion, so i am doing a dtq playthrough of alpha sapphire, and got my first team member, grovyle...that is level 31, and so i need to know if thats a good thing or not, because i dont even have the third badge
Edit: so i forgot to mention that i was doing dexnav, and the target was and still is poochyena, so that caused my grovyle to grow almost to sceptile, and now im doing hordes because my single encounter luck is that of a moldy towel
