Been watching your videos for a while now, and I remember watching you working in all these places outside over gravel or dirt, sometimes in such crappy weather. Always thought to myself that you really needed a really good shop to work in, basically what you have now. Its fun to see it happen, and I'm sure you're already enjoying the luxury!

Hi guys, I was a jet mechanic in the USAF working on F-16's and always had a lighting problem under the aircraft when inspecting the underside or engine bay. we had the same type of lights you use and they are OK at best. I made a floor light on wheels from a two tube 4 foot fluorescent ( we didn't have LEDs yet) and put it on a dimmer, of course, I made it so it would tilt so it could be aimed. I had to use an explosion proof light for USAF safety regs. this would give a lot of light under the aircraft even if it was away from the working area. When I built my shop I was going to build one into the floor with a 1 inch thick lexan top but the building code guy had a heart attack when I mentioned it. P.S. I worked on 250 ton ore trucks with a CAT C-175-16 engine that produced 2650 HP, ever think of putting one of those in a bus? LOL
