    We lost an incredible opportunity, an artistic, spiritual and empathetic approach to government when the media hoodwinked so many people to vote for Johnson ahead of Corbyn. As a musician I mourn the loss of such a sensitive and gentle man as our prospective Prime Minister.

      BUT. It's not what the proles like or want. They like a show man. The policies mean very little b/c in the main thy are not thinkers, they are reactionary. A bloc who always vote Labour, ditto Tories and 25 % who are swing voters and king makers. Then there's 20-25% like me who never vote as In a FPTP system ir's irrational or maybe they've realised whoever is in power nothing much changes.

    I love how Maxine declared herself straight away as someone from Salford and not Mancunian, it immediately reminded me of my partner (he sadly passed away during Christmas 2021 with heart failure) and he was a staunch 'Salfordite' that would immediately correct anyone that thought him Mancunian, he was Salford born and raised and loved that city like one would love the motherland. This has brought a smile because I can relate, no one would dare to label him from Manchester :) Were he watching this with me he would be laughing his ass off and saying "see! SEE!" God I miss him.

    There is a wonderful young musician singer songwriter who tries to speak out for the working-class and the state of the NHS , particularly because of the absolute hell he has been through after suffering from undiagnosed Lyme disease. he has written some extremely powerful pieces one being called. Hi Ren, which is his name. It came out in December 2022 and just went crazy on RUclips gaining millions of views by the end of January. he isn't signed with any label and all his videos are produced on an absolute shoestring. Ren is such a wonderful caring person even with all that he has been through and still is to some degree. he certainly would be a great one to interview from a mental health perspective, the lack of research into autoimmune disease and also struggling young artists. Prior to his solo debut he was in a band called The Big Push who use to busk in Brighton where they all lived, all of them are super super talented.
    Hi Ren has been nominated for some art award in France I believe.

      @AK Flaws in Marx's Theories
      Marx's theories, particularly his analysis of capitalism and his vision of communism, have been subject to various criticisms and identified flaws. Here are some of the main criticisms:
      Human Nature: Critics argue that Marx's understanding of human nature is overly simplistic and flawed. His theory assumes that humans are primarily driven by economic motives and that they will naturally gravitate towards communal living. However, human behavior is complex and influenced by a wide range of factors, including cultural, psychological, and individual differences.
      Economic Determinism: Marx's theory of historical materialism suggests that economic forces are the primary drivers of social change. Critics argue that reducing all social relations to economic relations oversimplifies the complexity of human societies. They contend that factors like culture, politics, and ideology also play significant roles in shaping historical events and societal structures.
      Class Struggle: While Marx's emphasis on class struggle as a driving force of historical change is a key aspect of his theory, critics argue that it ignores other important sources of conflict and change, such as racial, gender, and religious tensions. They contend that Marx's exclusive focus on class struggle overlooks the complexities of social dynamics and the multiple dimensions of inequality.
      Lack of Innovation and Incentives: Marx's vision of communism includes a society where private property is abolished and the means of production are collectively owned. Critics argue that this system lacks the incentives necessary for innovation and productivity. The absence of individual ownership and profit motive, according to this criticism, would dampen individuals' drive to work hard and generate economic progress.
      Centralized Planning: Marx envisioned a centrally planned economy in which production decisions are made collectively. Critics argue that such a system is prone to inefficiency and lack of flexibility. The absence of market mechanisms, they contend, makes it challenging to allocate resources efficiently, respond to consumer demands, and adapt to changing circumstances.
      Historical Predictions: Marx made several predictions about the inevitable collapse of capitalism and the subsequent rise of communism. Critics argue that history has not unfolded as Marx predicted, as capitalism has persisted and evolved in various ways. They contend that Marx's deterministic view of historical progress overlooks the complexities of social and economic development.
