- I'll be releasing one movement every Friday! So stay tuned next week for movement 1 :)
FUNDRAISER! please read
Back in June, I had the opportunity to compose a 3 movement piece to be performed with a string ensemble thanks to Peter Askim who is the director behind the amazing program @Next_Fest
This video outlines my intentions behind what I composed and shows little excerpts from each movement! Because this is a DIY endeavor, we are opening a gofundme in order to hire these same string players and fund a full studio recording of what we performed together so you can listen to it in high quality forever.

Yvette your music changed my life. It has helped me make so many paintings over the past few years and just feel again. It brings me so much joy to hear all your albums and loops and I just put them on repeat. Thank you so much
Yvette... Way to go Girl. Among todays generation you are one of a kind in real music. All the best 🌹👍
I thought she was part of the previous generation?
@@jackblack486 mean to say from 70's and 80's ?
@@cryfreesorrow Well I think she is a millennial? I thought the current gen is Gen Z, and the future is Gen alpha.
So amazing and inspiring. I’ve played guitar for many years and listening to you gave me a whole new passion for playing ❤
Sounds Awesome! It's fun seeing a sparkly green guitar next to all the uniform instruments hah
Would love to hear a whole album like this.
Hopefully I can do that when we finish the fundraiser 🖤
Good night or morning. Depending your time zone
Just roke up. Thanks dawg
You inspired me to start practicing guitar again after 30 years.. THANK YOU!!!
Childlike curiosity is where the gold is, thanks for the reminder and the encouragement. Nice work Yvette.
I need Yvette to write a score for a game. She would absolutely kill it.
Playing and making a guitar riff the way you do is on my vision board, thank you for all the vids and your down to earthness it’s very inspiring to me who hopes to get on your level
yvette your music ultimately changed my life. i was in a dark place and i dont want to get into detail but almost all i had was my guitar and headphones. i told myself i need one thing that i can latch onto during this period and that thing was covet. i would spend my every day listening and slowly learning bits of your music because it brought me so much comfort amidst all the turmoil in my life at the time. now im in a much better place and it brings me so much joy to see you with all these opportunities to just create
Following what excites you, being authentic and having curiosity about different things as a musician are messages that really resonate with me. Thank you for this powerful interview!
I really appreciate that the orchestral parts you wrote look like fun. Whenever I see a pop/orchestra collab, I'm always looking to see if the string parts are interesting, just because so many artists don't bother, and you see professional orchestras just droning on with simple bowings over really basic chord progressions. Especially with your last movement, you can really tell that the musicians are having a good time with it.
Very cool! Keep reinventing music!
Thank you for sharing this. I would not have otherwise known. I really enjoy your guitar compositions. This little insight is beautiful.
COOL
so cool!!!
Thank you for the blissful snippets - but mainly in this case the insights into your creative processes and inspirations!
✌🏻🤩❤️
Stay amazing yvette. You inspire me SO much. Can't wait to hear the movements!!
This is the type of music I've been waiting for since Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins ❤
The very special Yvette thanks for sharing this!🙂
Inspiring and highly interesting glimpse into the mind of the songwriter and her creative imagination. Thanks for sharing.
that's a great match (Yvette's playing with these orchestra arrangements)
Saw you in Germany at the Guitar Summit .. you are a burner .. so impressive - hope to see you soon in Germany ...
Such a beautiful soul. Would love to meet you just to talk about life and things ❤
Anyone ever tell you that you look a lot like Dick McRockman?
Such an adorable person 😊
i love that you are coming back into the classical / new music world!! this sounds wonderful and is everything that I love . Thank you yvette
That "Fictional movie with characters" explaination suits your music really good.
Keep it up!
I have no thought-provoking commentary or insightful review. I'm just here with you in this. I get that feeling of letting music guide your mind through an unseen movie. Your talent and passion coming together with all these other artists is incredible to see and experience.
The first song of yours that I heard was Tender and it really did something for me. I've listened to that song many times and it fits like a puzzle piece in my life at the time to help me heal.
That was a dramatic statement, but it's 100% true! 😅 Anyhoo, I've enjoyed your music and your band's music since then and I'm looking forward to hearing these movements! Thanks for sharing your gift!
You're such an inspiration, thank you for these gifts and the perspective. Plus I now have something to look forward to that isn't just Friday.
I like you a lot dudette, you're a smart kid and always make wonderful sound. Thanks a bunch for doing things with purpose and intention for everyone else.

💜
She's has such a brilliant, talented mind. So glad I got the chance to meet her
Well-deserved!! Good luck my idol! ❤
I can't believe you wasted the whole interview by not asking "if she was single and if she'd want to go to a concert with me sometime"....🤦🏼
looking forward to every friday now
You’re a pioneer and an inspiration!
We all have one thing in common, besides being awesome human beings. We’ve all been impacted in some way by Yvettes’ music. If you can in anyway, please donate towards this amazing project. 🤘🏻
I was hoping for some type of release when i heard about this performance. This was a pleasant surprise. Keep up the phenomenal work Yvette!!
I'm just here for your journey!
