    That is some pretty farm ground. I really like look of the Gleaner's, Glad you got through the wheat. I don't blame you for carrying it's a good habit to get comfortable with. My take: I would rather have and not need it, than not have it and wish I did. I carry every day due to the fact our world is a changed place and not for better. So sad. Stay safe and God bless.

    L2 is a great combine, ran one for years and then traded for a N 6. 👍

    Is there any saving the M2 ? Or is it too far gone ?? ... It's hard to figure because it looks pretty good then I no looks is not everything ...

      The fire was so hot around the hydro it warped the frame no saving it but the parts will help keep another one in the field

    yes to keep safe with the critters that are around you, but I would think having it in a holster would be safer.
    the allis-chumers gleaners do a great job harvesting. I watch “dirt, grain, steel” it is impressive the
    amount they farm. no matter what, it is allot of work, and tied to “mother nature” to get the needed
    weather for all the crops. wet when needed, and dry to harvest. not to deal with the “muck” out in the field!

      Yeah Brandon Shannon has a great channel and close by he has actually come and bought some parts off of one of our combines

    I'm glad you carry but I think you need a secure holster. So only you can push a button on side to remove it.
    Don't want anybody sneak up on you from behind or just drop it. Up to you.

      When I public I’m always concealed and this holster does have a exact angle for it to come out so if you pull back it’s not going anywhere

    Can I ask why you're both armed? In ranching, I can understand. But for farming (not sure of your location or circumstances), I don't know any farmers who 'go armed'... Moreover, I can imagine that it would not have went over well at the coffee shop. And on a more humorous note... Try putting down that Gleaner with a sidearm ;-)

    • @knappfarms
      @knappfarms  2 года назад +1

      We are always armed for personal protection a lot of crazy stuff happens in this world we are right of a interstate an hour south of Chicago had many body’s dumped out here from gang violence up there just a couple weeks ago there was a armed Robby where they pulled a lady out of her car at gun point and stole it 5 miles down the road as for the coffee shop they don’t mind they all know because of the RUclips channel I carry concealed in public but the majority agree with me having it weather they carry or not and I’ll agree time to put the ol M2 down

      @@knappfarms My how the world is changing, and I'm not convinced for the better. Don't get me wrong, I'm not disapproving, just asking. As far as the CS (circa mid-70s), I was just trying to picture going in armed... Regardless of knowing everyone there, it would have caused quite the stir. Housewives would have found out, clandestine discussions would have occurred, it would have been like a scene out of the Old West (and maybe it was). Different time and place in the cycle...

    • @knappfarms
      @knappfarms  2 года назад +2

      I would say the world is going down hill at the moment hopefully things turn around but there will always be bad people trying to cause harm to others and I would like to be prepared for that I am glad you asked and we could have a conversation about it though many people instantly think I am in the wrong and am trying to start stuff which is absolutely not the case but I am also proud of the rights I have and enjoy showing some of the world

    • @knappfarms
      @knappfarms  2 года назад

      It’s not just to farm it’s to go anywhere and everywhere we legally can if I always have it hopefully I will never need it but it only takes one time of needing it and not having it to change your world

      I mean running around for parts and the fact that we are an hour south of Chicago right off the interstate and they find body’s dumped out here all the time and just last month there was a lady got pulled from her car at gun point and robbed about 5 miles down the road so yeah I take personal protection serious
