    UPDATE: ComfyBumpy bouncer bit.ly/3vdoCL0
    Someone brought this one to my attention after recording, it's the most similar dupe I've seen! It looks identical for basically half the price and the clip for securing baby is much easier to do than Babybjorns!
    Here's the catch: It's safety weight is a lower range than BabyBjorns and based on reviews I've seen, the quality of the height adjustment clasp is not as good as Babybjorns (re: it's snapped on 16 lbs babies). Now there were only a handful of reviews I came across with a complaint about the cheap clasp, so for me personally if buying I would be okay with that risk if i planned on only using it for one kid.
    If I planned on using it for multiple kids or planned to resell after use, I'd probably still get the babybjorn since you could easily resell for $100 and come out at the same price point as the ComfyBumpy.

    I love love love my baby bjorn! My son is 26 months and 29 pounds and still loves it! Have him his bottles in it from about 9-18 months and the toy bar was almost like a stroller belly bar. When he was old enough (around 12 months) he got in and out on his own. Excited to gift it to my future niece in February! Btw my son loved it starting around 2 months. He also loved the mamaroo but by 6 months he could get out of that. Also the fisher price bouncer he likes but could get out of at 6 months. We also had the fisher price swing that he liked as well but could only use that til around 12 months and then he could climb out. We are a Montessori family and it sounds like we had a lot of seats but with the wild baby I had sometimes u need to pee or eat without them crying or hurting themselves. This is definitely a must buy! Only baby product (sans the stroller) that we’ve been using since the beginning!

      Ahh I'm so happy to hear it and your niece is a lucky gal!! I think some people get to obsessive over the "most montessori thing" but as long as your baby is meeting milestones you gotta do what you gotta do!
      Heck even with that said, my first literally was almost never in a "container" and didn't start rolling until 4-5 months. My second has spent way more time than she did in bouncers/chairs and he started rolling at 11 or 12 weeks and has been scooting across the room since like 10 weeks. So I don't know how much it matters as every kid is so different.

      @@confidentlymom so true! My LO hit all gross motor milestones early. Crawled before 6 months. Walked at 10 months.

    We had the baby alpine with our first and we weren’t ever able to get him into a position that made me comfortable when he was really young. And then when he was older and would squirm a bit the whole thing would start to tip. I just never get comfortable with it. I am pregnant with our second and think I might splurge on the bjorn this time around. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and all the details!

    Great review on the baby bjorn. I was bummed you didn’t compare it to the ergobaby bouncer. Trying to decide between the two.

      I made this before the Ergobaby came out, I have a review on that specifically and touch briefly on the babybjorn comparison and answer a lot of comparison Q's in the comments of that video! ruclips.net/video/nMjDk2vkaew/видео.htmlsi=uckIO7AhfzcRFcfa Alsooo they usually do a black friday sale, last year was 25% off so def keep your eyes out if you go that route!

    You can definitely scratch the wood print off the maxi cosi rocker, but my baby did love it. However he grew out of it faster than he would have if we got the babybjörn.

      Ahh good to know! That's what I thought!! I think most babies will love the Maxi Cosi too! For us it just wouldn't have provided the same level of help

      @@confidentlymom yeah I wanted to put the babybjörn on our registry, but my husband thought it was too expensive. I don't exactly regret asking for the maxi cosi, but listening to you talk makes me think I should have stuck to my guns.

    What do you think about ergobaby bouncer? compared to baby bjorn?

    • @confidentlymom
      @confidentlymom  3 месяца назад +1

      I have a review on that one here: ruclips.net/video/nMjDk2vkaew/видео.htmlsi=adAvF9avlQ6fsg1K
      I like them both for different reasons, so use this to figure out your priorities:
      Babybjorn: I like the wire base and it does feel lighter which was a hugeeee win for us going to the beach with it
      Ergo: Easier buckles to secure baby and mechanism to change heights of the bouncer (not that the babybjorn was super hard by my husband has arthritis and it was tough for him compared to Ergo's). Heavier.
      Both leave something to be desired for securing the slipcovers back on the frame after a wash

    Thank you for the review! How can I get the 20% discount for BB&Beyond?

      They pretty much just always have coupons in the mail or via email. I dk if that's changed as they've gotten more "bankrupt" -- but if you can hold off a week, I have a new review coming that beats out this one and it'll be on sale 11/11 for $150!

    • @confidentlymom
      @confidentlymom  2 года назад +2

      Ohh thanks for bringing this one to my attention! It's the most simular dupe I've ever seen!
      Here's the "cons": It's safety weight is a lower range than BabyBjorns and based on reviews I've seen, the quality of the height adjustment clasp is not as good as Babybjorns (re: it's snapped on 16 lbs babies and probably why it's rated for a lower weight range).
      There were only a handful of reviews I came across with a complaint about the cheap clasp, so for me personally if buying I would be okay with that risk if i planned on only using it for one kid.
      If I planned on using it for multiple kids or planned to resell after use, I'd probably still get the babybjorn since you could easily resell for $100 and come out at the same price point as the ComfyBumpy - but if you're not the "resell" type then probably worth saving the money upfront.

  • @linamedova3907

    Could it be cause of Baby Shaking Syndrome? Is it safe?

    • @confidentlymom
      @confidentlymom  Год назад +2

      Could it cause Baby shaken syndrome? Highly unlikely as the head is supported and it can only bounce so fast...you'd have to vigorously shake a child unsupported for a few seconds for that to happen... (think how you shake out your hands in anger).
      Talk to your pediatrician if you're concerned though. I've always been told BSS doesn't happen by accident like in a bouncer or riding in a bumpy car etc....
