  • In the latest episode of My Garage, in partnership with Harley-Davidson, we're in the heart of San Antonio, Texas with the quick-witted Joey Cano, who's known for churning out some of our industry's most impressive custom motorcycles and paint jobs. With the drive to outdo himself every time he leaves the paint booth, it's clear he didn't earn that reputation by accident.

Proud of Joey!!! He almost at one point didn’t want to make anymore bikes or paint… I’m just lucky to be there and capture him the entire way. Thank you for showcasing Joeys work and showing the Magazine images that I have crafted for him!!

I recall guys installing Triumph frontends on H-D Big Twins. I knew of some guys in Massachusetts who did that back in 1965. There were twin brothers who lived near me. They bought two clapped out Harleys: one Pan the other a Knuckle. The Pan was black with copious amounts of clear coat. The Knuck was candy red with clear that made the red look ultra-deep. That was in Spring 1966. I packed behind the brother (Ned) on his Knuck. We rode to a local amusement park which held dances fueled by some sounds provided by a dj pal of ours. There were some other bikes and a couple of car clubs in attendance. I can still see it all in my mind -- the sounds: "Double Shot of My Baby's Love" (The Swingin' Medalion) and, my favorite from back then, "Who Do You Love?" -- a brusin' version of a Bo Diddley standard by The Woolies. Joey Cano, your Panhead takes me back to those fantastic days -- so long ago. Thanks a million, Joey! Thanks a million, Jake from Prism Supply!

i fuckin love these my garage vids. documenting the space one garage at a time across the country is so cool. i imagine someone finding all these videos in the distant future and the invaluable resource gained from hearing the insights of the legends they'll be trying to emulate. real timeless shit.

You guys at Prism are incredible. I love watching all your videos. Because of them I’ve found a love for something that I can’t wait to be a part of, building bikes! Also as Carolina boy myself I can say you’re doing it proud! Keep up the great work.

Always great videos I think a lot of people that own motorcycles. Have ideas and come up with things that end up as a rolling machine. I wish I could paint better but I think I have gotten better I concentrate on the mechanical or the inventive side. The important thing is to try and not be discouraged. 🏍️👌✨🖖

I like Cano's style \m/ But c'mon Cano, Brit bikes can cruise on the highway. Highways are still technically 55mph right?

I like all of this but some of the Harley/Knucklehead elitism is a bit annoying and becoming a bit cookie cuter at this point. I ride a Triumph and love it, and have loved a lot of brands because I just love motorcycles.
