This is a valuable addition to my woodwork collection ruclips.net/user/postUgkxkNYRBJuiJ6EwD-tQSAlxg0eFKsnR2cgz I still will rate this woodwork plan as the best in my reference library. It always seems to stand out from the rest whenever you go through the library. This is a masterpiece.
for painting the block. put the tape on the grey color to edge the orange. Run a bead of clear caulk at the edge of the tape where the colors meet and smooth it with putty knife. Then paint and pull the tape while the paint and caulk are wet. You get a perfect edge on a bumpy surface. Work great on walls with texture like they do around here. Makes nice clean lines
How can you show all the beautiful work done and not show your dad's first reaction when He saw this!!! What a good son/daughter-in-law you folks are. Great work!
Super awesome to be able to see how y’all made some of the things you made in our fan cave! Was a pleasure having y’all down and thanks again for the amazing work you both did!
Beautiful job and beautiful to see it given to your dad, he must be so proud You guys in the USA have huge garages, I’m jealous Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
What are the chairs near the tool chest from? I like the look and would like to add something like them to the motorcycle mancave that I am working on in my garage.
Hmm, ive been searching for that Rocksolid product here in Norway but cant find it. Not even any hits on it on Germanys Amazon page where i buy my amazon stuff. :( We all mostly use epoxy here.
@1:42, there is actually a little known hack to obtaining wall paper like, crisp paint edges, with no bleeding of paint under the tape lines, when painting stripes. What you should have done is laid out both rows of painters tape. Then, you should have painted black paint below the bottom edge AND above the top edge of the lower painter’s tape. Then, you should have painted grey paint below the bottom edge AND above the top edge of the upper painters tape. In other words, let’s say your orange stripe was 8” high, where the orange stripe would end up being, you would first have 4” of black paint above the bottom row or painters tape and 4” of grey paint below the bottom edge of the top row of painter’s tape. By doing this step first, before you paint the orange stripe, you are essentially sealing the edges of the painters tape to prevent orange paint from bleeding under the edges of the painters tape. I hope this makes sense.
Looks great! what did you use to hold the wood shelves to the galv plumbing pipes from underneath @ 13:32? Looks like the electrical tie ins... hard to tell.
No disrespect, you followed directions. Once again, the epoxy coating manufacturer did not recommend the proper preparation. If you apply a coating on top of a coating that is peeling, now you will have two coatings that peel. If you didn’t diamond grind the floor to clean, white, scratched concrete, it WILL FAIL. When it does, look us up for high quality epoxy that WON”T peel when installed properly. Give us an update on the floor in 6 months.

That degreazzzzing process was satisfying lol
Great job... looks awesome. But what I want to know about is that car seats bench you got back there. Any video footage of it or plans?

Do you have any trouble using the attic step with the placement of the bar.

Where did you got the pipes from for the shelves?? Can you drop the link
If youre in Orange County, CA I can finish the Harley Logo.
Looks great! what did you use to hold the wood shelves to the galv plumbing pipes from underneath @ 13:32? Looks like the electrical tie ins... hard to tell.
Thanks! Those are two hole clamps for EMT conduit
Hello where did you get the pipes from for the shelves can u help?
What size is your garage area?
I’m still looking for the pipes for the shelves help please???
Could you have done the installation yourself if it wasn't for the warranty?
Did you only need to use 1 rocksolid 2.5 kit to do the floor? I keep seeing others recommending to use twice as much
I used two kits.
You are a great son and a great daughter-in-law. Your father is lucky.
Awesome garage , how many bikes do you own ?
How is this floor holding up today?
What brand and color paint did you use? Or did you have them custom matched?
How many square feet floor is it
Why did they use a multiple zone condenser and only install one head?
We installed two heads
What did u use to mount 2x4 to block ?
Go Hokies? Or does your dad just have great taste in hats?
Where did you get those stools?
How did you make the wall shelves
how does the mini split drain hose work?
It has a small pump to draw it up to the drain.
