- TODAY IS THE DAY!! I am taking three girls who have never been on a Disney cruise... well they have never been on a cruise at all... on the Disney Dream! Everyone is so excited and we can't wait to board this beautiful ship and start exploring!!
Disney Cruise Line makes boarding special when they announce each family as they enter the ship... no one else does this! Once onboard we go crazy exploring... the pool deck, the lido buffet, the kids' clubs... oh did you know there is a full movie theater onboard? So much to do and explore, let's get to it!

I can’t believe you have grandchildren! You are so young 😍 I have been in Disney Cruise line twice. Last cruise was back in 2014 (Mothers Day Weekend). And I remember on my second cruise I had some cool stuff in my room. The one thing I remember most was a Disney Cruise Line Beach Bag. I thought that was pretty cool. I used it on the ship and when we went to port. I ❤ Disney Cruises. They are expensive but if you’re a BIG DISNEY FAN, it is so worth it.
I love seeing the joy on the girls faces. They are the perfect age to remember this experience and looks like they are going ti have so much fun. My daughter was like 13 when we went on our cruise. The one rule I had was we ate dinner together and we watched a show at night. For the most part, she was up in the teen hang out for her age group, playing games and meeting other kids her age. Disney effectively does a good job catering to kids of all ages, not just the really young ones.

The Dream was our first cruise and the start of our cruising life. Maddison just turned 4 and we had an absolute blast. I love DCL! But I’m a Disney fan ❤ the girls look like they could explode with excitement

I love seeing Disney cruise through a eyes of kids. My kids were teens when we went.
We also appreciate the split bathroom and full very comfortable bed.
I was on the Dream with my daughter the year it came out and we had the best experience ever on a cruise! Now she's 16 and many cruises later this was still her favorite! I love watching family firsts and this one doesn't disappoint! Glad you and your girls had a blast! Looking forward to more fun with your family!

We love Disney cruises. Our most recent was last August on Disney Dream. Definitely like the unlimited drink station and how convenient my gluten free diet is on a Disney cruise. Their gluten free chicken tenders are a guilty pleasure.

Love that Disney dose the rotational dining. It means everyone gets to see all the restaurants and do all the themes with no booking hassle…..and the waiters come with you too…so cool.

Aquaduck is one of the very few cruise waterrides I've done. Around dinner time, it's easy to ride it repeatedly, but you will be (or were) probably doing some assigned dining or seeing a show...
Love the girl’s enthusiasm. Interesting about Muster drill. My last two DCL cruise we just had to check in at the station and our cards were swiped. And that was 2020 and 2022.

Took our 7 y/o on an eleven night med cruise on Disney and she had dinner with us twice!😂😂😂 We’d spend the days in port or on the pool deck with the slides and by the time evening rolled around, she was tired of us and wanted to go to the kids club!😂😂

We did our first cruise back on the Disney Wonder in 2009. No kids, just us and loved it! Loved watching the happy kids all over the place. We want to take our grandsons but not sure of a good age. May I ask how old your granddaughters were? Mine are currently 3 & 5 and I think waiting about 4 more years would be a good age. Thanks for sharing!!
The girls are 9 & 10. They were a perfect age but even a few years younger would love it and appreciate it.

We just came back from Disney dream. I love Disney but this cruise isn’t impressive. However I do plan to explore other Disney ships 😂

Disney is the only line I have been on!! They do have great loyalty perks! We are going on RC for the first time in December!

Yes, they are more expensive but I feel they add a lot of value for the cost. I will have a video out soon on DCL tips, etc that will talk more about this.

Omg….never take a child on a Disney cruise first….they will never be satisfied on any other cruise line…nothing will meet their approval and you will be stuck the entire cruise with your kids who are ruined by Disney kids clubs.
