  • The Singapore Police Force demonstrated its operational capabilities with the use of drones and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) in a simulated operation involving the Armed Strike Team. Leveraging on technology helps the Special Operations Command augment their operations and mitigate risks to officers, says Police Tactical Unit Company Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Eugene Ooi.

@@fidelcatsro6948 Exactly, your time is over. Advancement in technology and improvements in SOPs has been inplaced to mitigate mistakes and failures that had happened in past locally and externally. Better to have 20 vs 1 gunmen rather than 5 vs 1 gunmen. Most importantly, responders can get home safely to their family.

It seems like a lot until you realize that in the 2016 raid in the french supermarket, the suspect literally survived a volley of bullets and was a few seconds away from setting off the detonator before falling. If there had been fewer police officers you would already know how the story would have ended.
