Thanks for the video. My Son is a beginner and I am planning to buy a drum kit. Confused between the Yamaha DTX452 and the Alesis Nitro. I am based in Malaysia currently.
Yamaha DTX452. Don't waste your money on the Alesis trash.

Hi there! I have DTX452K. How to configure snare for left hand? Now rim click is for the right hand and I can't play it as left hand
Yamaha sounds great but no mesh! so Roland is the winner
I need one where I don’t need to hit it really hard for it to be loud
So it looks like only the Roland has double bass pedal compatibility. That sucks.

I wouldn’t by a kit without MIDI on the module.
Prices??? Seems like common sense to list price points dude…
@George B - Umm.. Read the description, You might find some helpful info.
They are different prices depending on where you go , prices will be different at different times ect
Alesis is a chinese product. The product will no suvive longer than yamaha or roland products.
The "made in" tag is largely meaningless, Yamaha drums (and other musical instruments and bikes too!) are manufactured in China for years!

Alesis might feel good but sounds like shit with pebbles rolling down the stairs
