Many thanks for posting this video of model building and flying skills at their best. Vintage models are a delight to build and fly. You don't need to cut the sky to bits to prove a point. We have lost the sheer joy of seeing our creations take to the sky from a box of balsa and covering. I am about the begin work on a Quaker Flash which will be electric powered. If it flys half as well as your Junior Sixty I will be a happy man. Thanks again for this great video Pete
Thank you ever so much upon your wonderful remarks! Greatly appreciated. Yes if you ever do embark upon RC aeroplanes again then electric is the way to go, no noise (to upset anyone), no mess, no smell. 21st century power...
LOve these planes , must have been the hours spent leafing through the Keilkraft catalogs . Still looks good today . Chunky looks and bags of dihedral , gorgeous . Adapted so well to electric power. (Never did like i/c in planes or boats !)
Great pilot (love the touch-and-go shots), great videographer (Sixty always in the frame and never just a dot in the sky). When I last tried RC I had a Super Sixty with OS 46 but I think I may one day try an electric Sixty. Nice music, too. Many thanks!
Please tell us the motor and servos in your Junior 60? And also the lipo you used? Beautiful classic model, flying so well with electric power. Great stuff.
I have a Ben Buckle Falcon that needs finishing. I have an OS FS-60 (open rocker) four-stroke engine for the plane. If I get to fly my model the way this plane flies, (slow and easy) I will be very happy.
Also, what's the covering? And, if you can remember, what was the All-Up Flying Weight? I'm considering doing the same and would find your information invaluable. Thanks, in anticipation.
I love the junior it's so graceful
