    DJ BBQ all the way! You sir made me a cook. I wish I went to cooking school when I was younger....but I guess it is never too late. Cheers from Bosnia and Herzegovina. PS. Come to Sarajevo, food here is amazing :) (Almost all dishes are BBQ)

      Amazing!!!!!!!!! Hey, many top cooks have learned their craft in kitchens and not in school. Some of my favorites honed their skills working in different kitchens around the world. I would love to travel to your region. I heard the BBQ is awesome!

    My grandpa does kinda the same thing, but he makes a sauce with chilli, parsley, lemon, fish sauce and sugar and stuff, then he puts it on the raw scallops, adds unmelted butter to it, then cooks it on the barbecue.

    So you kept the Roe/Gonads in place? I've never tasted that part. Only the white meaty part. How does that part differ in taste? Looks great / delicious. Thanks for the idea.
    I never thought to grill them.

    Sorry - don't go this one - Overcooked Scallops? Booze or not - 8 mins'? These baby's can even be eaten raw!? - Better to put some garlic and chilli and garlic and parsley 'through' some cold butter and bottom and top the scallops with 2 knobs and B-b que with a dash of wine over No?...Au point'?...............
