My friend finally left now I can watch this classic story love this story I use to own the book when I was kid when I was 14 got it for Xmas back 1997 but my step sister stolen my book and set it on fire I was so upset when she did that and she was 18 years old at the time

@@mechapingas3425 The Oompa-Loompas. In the first edition of the book, they didn't look... like that. It had to be changed for the second edition. If you'd like to know more, google "oompa loompa first edition" and click the first link. Yeah.
(Myself, I liked them. I was a little kid when i got my copy, and I loved how they were the only people who really got what was going on, and said so straight out. It was the 60's, and I had no knowledge of why they were a problem. I just loved their snarky songs and tendency to laugh at everybody.)

Myself, I liked them. I was a little kid when the book came out, and I didn't know enough socially to get why they would be a problem. I just loved them because they were the only ones who really knew what was going on, and sang snarky songs and laughed at EVERYBODY. They were a gas!
