I'm here Christmas Day 2024! So gorgeous, brilliant, and stunning! You represent a great deal, Sir! Thank you for such a grand demonstration of Musical, Cello Excellence! I send you and yours, including the symphony orchestra and Conductor, Hugs and Love from Pennsylvania, USA!
I just love this young man , was so privileged to hear him live . It was wonderful , and for his encore he including the whole cello section of the , which I thought was wonderful 👍🎼🎼👍👍👍👍🎶🎶🎵🎵
Edgar Elgar’s catalogue raisonne is full of gems. He was a composer unto himself, a Roman Catholic in Protestant England who found success late in middle age.
Brava Bravo!!!!!!! 1st thanks to conductor Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla + Sheku, 2nd all the members of the team + BBC!!!! you guys are all amazingly performed Elgar's classic in a new wave era!!!! what a surprise and pleasure to listen! Thank you so much all of your hard efforts!!!!
Why is this most promising young cellist's career so discreet? I don't think Elgar's lack of empathy with the cello helps here, but we have so little evidence of Sheku's progress it is getting rather enigmatic. An enigma? Elgar?
Elgar composed brilliantly for strings, and especially for the cello. This young musician and his siblings are performing and releasing recordings regularly. Perhaps I have missed your point?
@@dolinaj1 Indeed you missed my point. Just what is yours? Elgar did indeed compose a great deal of work, but he was a hack and this work could only have been written by a hack. In particular it shows no understanding of the cello. If you cannot see that maybe you have the same difficulty as Elgar. Quantity is no guarantee of quality. In music and other great forms of Art quantity is often used to smother an evident lack of quality.

@@towmlvb3423 i'm not quite understanding this, would it be correct in saying that Elgar's works cannot bring out this young mans full potential?
Honestly u should not talking like he is basically from the best music school ever.
@@towmlvb3423- can you please give some more detailed examples for why you call Elgar a “hack”?
No DEI hire
