@@LeighWilbrahamLeighWilbraham I'm contemplating about. Reason being: The CVP809 sounds much richer especially Piano Sounds (Genos Piano sounds clanky now if you compare the two) and big Speaker System so I spend more time on the CVP now. Question: Seeing CVP has got the same GENOS Software (but is much more user-friendly to use) would your Registrations work on there?
Hi Leigh I’ve just started watching your videos. Great tuition. Question; I note you save your registrations to a usb. Can you save directly to the keyboard and then place in a playlist? 🤔 many thanks 👍
Thank you Leigh I have a Genos and a PA4x Musikant. But I really prefer Genos which is more user friendly..I have some issue with the half english half german menu of the Korg. Is PA5x really different ?
@@LeighWilbraham Thank you Leigh I was wondering if you knew a tutorial how to best generate slash chord on Genos. I know I have to use "fingering on bass", which is OK if the bass note is part of the chord but how to play C/A instead of Am7 ?
Thanks Leigh for this great demo. Did not realize that Genos has this kind of capabilities of tricking channels. I like also your recent demo on Pa5x. Does it mean that Pa5x has similar function? Not sure I have seen arpeggio on this last one either. We love to see/hear more tips from you on both devices soon. I am looking at both Genos or Pa5x. Not sure which one to consider but Pa5x has the trend. Thanks!
when you change the volume to 80 with the physical slider, and load a registration that has volume 50 on that channel, then is it not a problem that the physical slider is out of sync with the actual value it represents?
@@LeighWilbraham In one of your Genos2-videos you say, that the new behavior (e.g. the slider doesn't affect anything until you level it down to the registrations 50 and then the slider starts to work) isn't a behavior you cannot understand and the yamaha staff should ask some users before they programmed such thing. But then if neither "the slider changed the value immediately" (Genos1) nor "the slider waits to bring them to value and then starts" (Genos2) is well for you - what would your suggestion how it should the behavior to be?
@@LeighWilbraham Both ?... hahahha.. You are being polite to both manufacturers.. I know both are great... But I have the same question... And this is not a good answer.. because they are extremely expensive and almost nobody can afford both. So.. which are the advantages of one over the other?
Thanks Leigh. Most informative and useful. I will now put this in to practice.
Hi Leigh, fantastic video. I have learnt so much in the last half hour than in the past 9 months of owning my Genos. Thank you.
Thank you for the wonderful lesson you explain everything so clearly
You're very welcome!
Great info on the arpeggio thank you!
Very well explained, I will have a go, I'm always looking to improve. many thanks
Thanks for all your videos they are super and easy to follow.
I just discovered them recently and am very happy I learned heaps.
Do you have a Genos
@@LeighWilbraham Yes, had it for 3 years and also got a Clavinova CVP809. both are super.

Great Video Leigh. You have your tools learn to use them and don’t be afraid to experiment.
I love Robert miles - Children. never boring.

I too prefer Genos. Tried 5x and couldn’t get on with it. Too complicated menus and takes ages to do anything with it.

Genos offers more functions and has more support in terms of styles and content.
Hi Leigh, if I become a member and want to cancel membership at one point, how do we do that, thanka
You just go to your account and choose cancel or you can message and your account can be closed. Very easy

Yes - it’s a bad design

@@Quedel I believe that they are going to add an option to turn this feature off which will be a good idea.
Isn't there a quantize?
Not for multipad - no.
Genos or pa5x?
Thanks in advance
both

Absolutely Genos 2 wait for it.
