This Genos 2 has so many musical compartment, it’s a full time job to search them out but your explanations are so clearly made. Thank you so much Leigh.
I always enjoy watching your videos Leigh, albeit I can't watch "live". I have a Genos 2 and find your videos informative as well as nice to listen to your playing.
Great to hear you again early in the morning in San Jose California USA! Just sold my Tyros 2, 5 and SX900, going to buy a Genos 2 Monday. When I save up a little more I will be buying a SX920 as well.
Your Genos2 demos are the best. For strings, there are 3 new Filharmonic and 2 new Cinematic strings. The warm Filharmonic is pretty smooth, in my opinion.
Amazing Instrument . . . Wonderful Musical Talent ! ! ! What would be your choice between 1 Genos2 keyboard or 2 PSR-SX920 keyboards (same budget) ? Thank you.
Hy . One question please : is it possible to create a new style with user voices created with YEM ? I can't find an answer on the internet....Still don't have a Genos....but i need this function because i have so many wav. I want to be able to create user voice using YEM and the load them and use them in user styles. Thanks a lot.
Question: What is the market that Yamaha is targeting with the Genos (2)? Who can tell me? Semi-Professional? For the Professional player, the Genos (2) lacks a lot of options and for the average user, the new PSR-SX920 or the PSR-SX720 will do just fine.
@@LeighWilbraham What I like to do is when I created a style from a known song from the 80s or 90s, also create the lead sounds that are played in these songs. I had the PSR-SX900 and tried to edit the voices but missed options to create voices from scratch with samples. Is this possible in the Genos2?
I can't believe Yamaha still have not addressed the issue of that Hammond patch jumping from slow to fast with no ramp up ! It's terrible ! Same on the SX900 ! Totally unrealistic ! Two completely different samples jumping from one to another instantly ! Poor show Yamaha !
You do know that you can do that already? You can change the speed at which the slow-fast changes.. Really best to have the facts before you start ranting about it not doing something..
Your sense of humour is brilliant and more so, you music playing on this wonderful Yamaha Genos 2 is sublime to say the least.
Wow, thank you!

Thank you kindly!
I'm glad it's not just my Genos 2 that the sliders don't respond without jiggling! And its due to you that I bought one!
@@enlighteneduk I’m told there’s an update coming to disable it as an option. Just getting tired of waiting and waiting.

Hi Leigh from Nova Scotia. What volume do you use on the accompaniment to your voices and do you change it for certain songs?
You demonstrated the drawbar capability. Can you also save the different settings so that you can save multiple drawbar organ variants as a new voice?
@@idemditto yes you can
@@LeighWilbraham Ah that is great! I have a template with all organ settings of famous organists. Want to make my own organ voices from that.

Multiple times you spoke over the scratchy strings. Can you edit the styles and change the strings?
You can change the strings in styles but no you can’t edit the strings
