Thank you my Suzanne. I am São Paulo, Brazil and you are my inspiration since I discovery your channel. I love to hear your sweet voice. A virtual hug for you.
this is exactly what I have been looking for I wanted to make a skirt with a flounce on it but I was unsure what to do so this has answered my question thanks so much..........take lots of care Debbie xxxx not David he is my hubby xxxxxx
I've been trying to figure out how to make a flounce for 6 months. I have a dress that is too short and thought it would be perfect to add for extra length. I can't wait to try this. Thanks so much!!!!
Thanks for your videos. I've learnt so much in the short time I've been watching your tutorials. I'm not a serious sewer and probably wouldn't attempt most things you do, but watching your videos gives me a real understanding of why something is shaped the way it is or why it's put together a certain way even sewing basic garments. Thank You
Lindyjanemac Mac thanks so much for your really lovely comments which are super appreciated 💕💕💕 Its so nice to hear that the content is useful 👍👍👍 this has perked up my day, thankyou💕👍💕
Thank you for such a clear, informative and useful tutorial on how to make a flounce. You are giving me the confidence to actually try and make blocks for my body.... A real challenge but now I can 'flounce up' my makes! Again thanks. Andee
Thanks so much Andee💕👍💕 that's so nice to hear, good luck if you do go for it, making your own blocks 🍀🍀🍀 and in the mean time happy flouncing up your makes💕💕👍
I am going to try it! I made a little railroad striped denim skirt about a year ago and I've only worn it twice because it's too short. I love the skirt and knew I wanted to add something to the bottom, now I know exactly what I want to do! Thank you!
Thank you for the video. Your way of explaining is comprehensive and your instructions are easy to follow. Like all your tutorials, this one is brilliant and great to watch. I've never made a flounce (I'm not very flouncy) but I've used slash/spread to make bishop sleeves - but the process didn't look as smooth as yours 😁 Alex x
Wow-thank you so much for these helpful, creative videos! I really appreciate how well you breakdown, describe and demonstrate the techniques. Great projects and great video editing!
Am looking to add a flounce around a (too short) narrow very stretchy dress that is very form fitting (29" around )with one seam at center back. It came with a shrug that measures roughly 13 x 26 inches and am hoping this may be enough to get the flounce pieces cut out. Plan is for 3" wide flounce, - keeping my fingers crossed that it will turn out as nicely as yours! Thank you for this great video as I wasn't sure just how to go about drafting the flounce pieces to properly fit around the bottom of the skirt.
I have a pattern that has inset sleeves but I hate how tight then can be and for this pattern I see a flounce looking mighty fine with it. It's the new M4M Kaia dress/romper. I'm surprised it didn't have a flounce sleeve option...but NOW IT HAS ONE when I get done with it!
Hi suzanna did you use the same measurements for the flounce on the hem of the red dress as the navy spotted dress that you demenstrated Janet s thank you
You're amazing and your video's are just what I've been looking for! For some reason I'm almost never 100% satisfied with the designs of ready made patterns and always want to adjust them a bit or make my own patterns, but I'm not a super experienced sewer and I doubt myself often. Your videos show me that it can be done and it doesn't have to be super hard to make your own patterns and adjustments. Thank you!
Thanks so much fsshtck 💕👍💕 this was such a lovely comment to read💕, I'm so glad the content is helpful👍 its fab adding your own spin to makes👍 good luck with it🍀🍀🍀

I am excited to try this out . If you make the gaps bigger ie 3/4 inch does it give you more flouncy flounce lol ?
It does, the bigger the gap the bigger the flounce👍👍👍 Happy flouncing💕
