    Dudes !!!!
Those drums, without any processing, sound better than anything I’ve ever done.
I hate to presume that it’s sampled sounds...
    Is it? / Are they?
My recorded/ processed drums still sound like a drum set... and that’s NOT a compliment to me.
Very frustrating, but I keep trying and have seen some small improvement. 🤪🤪🤪

Nope. These are the drums I recorded in my studio a few weeks ago. Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/Kcy2nTc4_Qg/видео.html

    Merci
I always cut everything that is below 100 When I Eq the snare
    Bad habit?

I used to do that but realized I was taking away the thump from my thicker snares. Instead i now leave the lower frequencies alone on the snare and set up a dynamic EQ on the snare track and sidechain the kick into it. I then duck the 60-80 hz range of the snare every time I get a signal from the kick to prevent frequency overlap

sounds like it effected the ambience the most to me...?? Snare needed a "wallet" taped to it!! ;-D

Hey! Are you having any issues with Studio One and the new operating system? My current DAW is having all sorts of problems and I need something I can rely on. I've already lost a project (crash that the DAW company has said it's OS related) and have to completely reconstruct it. Lucky I have the soundfiles intact. Many hours lost though. The company has no ETA on when they'll get it fixed. Please advise if Studio One is running smoothly. Thanks!
