- People are hitting the socials hardddd saying the new Prada Paradoxe is a rip off of scents like Giorgio Armani My Way. Is it though? Let's give em a spray and find out.

I also didn’t find them similar. I find my way to be more soapy, the intense is my favorite of the My Way line but I still sold mine - it’s cute but the performance wasn’t great for me & it reminds me of shampoo. On the other hand Paradoxe is warm, sweet and just a pretty scent. It’s not groundbreaking but I love it.
Exactly! Not everything has to be groundbreaking, I think Paradoxe will make a nice addition to a lot of fragrance collections.
I fell in love with Paradoxe last year, even though I didn´t think I would. Since then, I have seen it compared to My Way, YSL Libre and Valentino Born in Roma. I can honestly say, these fragrances smell nothing like one another. It all comes down to personal preference, but I still like Paradoxe the best. Prada has a way of mixing their perfumes in a way that is inoffensive and also somehow sophisticated. Perhaps it´s the amber but I absolutely love the drydown on Paradoxe. I found My Way too flat for my taste, Libre just smells like a nice soap or laundry detergent (I much prefer the Intense version) and Born in Roma made me physically sick, it´s too sweet.
Paradoxe starts very fresh and dries down sort of powdery but both scents are very clean which, at least to me, makes it a year-round fragrance. I only put it away in the last few weeks because the weather has been crazy hot and I prefer more herbal or citrusy scents when the temperatures go above 30 degrees. Once the heatwave is over, I already know I´ll reach for it immediately :)
Libre smells absolutely nothing like Paradoxe or Donna Born in Toma. However, the drydown of Paradoxe and Donna Born in Roma are very similar.
Great review.. first sniff of Prada did remind me of my way. But it’s not the same some notes are different I bought the Prada paradoxe right away tho it was definitely the musk that got me.

Yes they are so alike I went to smell the Prada paradoxe and I was like literally so shocked at how similar it smells to my way floral when I went to ulta likeeeee

@@papistyle6479 well I originally had gotten the travel size of the my way floral before even smelling paradoxe and I loved it so much I was like I need this BUT BIGGER 😂 my friend was like Prada paradoxe smells so good so last week I went in to spray it and I was astonished at how similar they are, but I stuck with my girl my way floral I feel like there’s more product in it 😂 I could be wrong
I noticed Prada Paradoxe smells the most like My Way Floral too. I think it’s not only because both have orange blossom, but the floral version has Neroli, like Paradoxe! But I got them both and they are different enough to have to an extent… for me

I smelled all of the “My Ways” a few days ago I and not only was I NOT a fan of them.. they smell nothing like Paradoxe not even close… I loveee both Paradoxe Regular and Intense… I have envy last Born In Roma women fragrance and those aren’t even similar they have their own smells.

I have my way and today went to smell prada paradox and they are so similar. I found out nahh i will stick to my way.
I dont say they are same but they are so much similar to my way armani and nothing new, special or different smell. Stick with 1 of them.

I really appreciated your low-key, well constructed and informative feedback on these 2 fairly new releases from these 2 Haute Couture houses. I have one of the scents and the other I have been toying with the decision to purchase. You are spot-on with your assessment with both fragrances and correctly stated: They would smell wonderful on any woman…each one unique in their own right.
However, in my humble opinion, I would say that Prada Paradoxe is more of a late fall/winter fragrance being that the amber note is so potent on the dry-down…and man, does that dry-down contain a complexity that I have never taken in with any other fragrance that I have tried nor worn! It’s going to become a classic, I believe.

They’re definitely not the same. But I definitely agree that someone who likes one will most likely like the other.
I like the Prada paradoxe, I’m a guy and I wanted to try it because of Emma Watson 😂 but it doesn’t smell too feminine and in small amounts I think it works on me
It smells like the Jean Paul Gaultier so scandal. But a bit fresher.
Ouuu the Prada bottle so gorgeous and ouuu honey you been using up my way intense must be nice I love my way I have not bought any Flankers I'm in love with the original
hahaha to be fair I split out and sold a bunch of that bottle, that did not all land on me. If you love the original don't bother with the flankers, just keep loving whatcha got. Only that latest one is even remotely worth considering as a My Way flanker.

My preference would be with the original.
I love paradoxe. My way is nice but not the same as Prada.
In case it helps I tried both after an hour.
*Prada is more fresh, bit powdery, bit sweet lotion, tiny bit masculine (for any type of skin) .
*My way is def not for greasy skin, cause it turns into citric and pepper, and bit vintage. But is so good for dry skin, feels like clinic, sweet just like on the lid.

I do not like my way. I can't stand it. I have valentino born in roma, voce viva, and libre which are also compared to this. for me, paradoxe smells very similar to voce viva but not as sweet. I love paradoxe out of all of them. she may be generic but she sure does smell good.
See it took a while to grow on me. But men love it on me
